A standout feature is the unique combo port group. You can choose to use the four combo ports as either SFP for fiber or RJ45 for copper connections. These ports are also software-selectable; if all eight cables are connected (four SFP, four RJ45), you can use scripting to decide which four ports will be active, offering dynamic control over your network configuration. The device also boasts a "Dual Boot" capability, allowing you to choose between the simplified, switch-only SwOS or the fully-featured RouterOS for Layer 3 routing capabilities.

Housed in a 1U rackmount chassis, the CRS328-4C-20S-4S+RM is built for reliability, featuring two redundant 100-240V power supplies with failover functionality to ensure maximum uptime. Powered by an 800 MHz CPU and 512 MB of RAM, it delivers a non-blocking throughput of 64 Gbps and a switching capacity of 128 Gbps.
