Product Overview

Silicon dioxide (SiO2) is one of the most abundant, structurally complex, and widely used inorganic materials on Earth. It has many forms, such as quartz crystal, amorphous silicon dioxide solid, silicon dioxide colloid and different kinds of aerogels. Generally, the silicon atoms in silicon dioxide molecules are tetrahedral coordinated, consisting of four oxygen atoms surrounding a central Si atom. In recent years, silica particles have shown significant value in the fields of materials chemistry and physics due to their adjustable size, morphology, microstructure, and easy surface functionalization. Particularly, silica particles functionalized with various functional groups have been widely used in catalysis, adsorption, sensing, and biomedical applications. The synthesis methods of silica particles include: sol gel method, lotion method, precipitation method and chemical vapor deposition method, among which the sol gel method is often used in the laboratory due to the high quality of silica particles. In the sol gel method, tetraethyl silicate (TEOS), tetramethyl silicate (TMOS) and polysiloxane are usually selected as the silicon source, ammonia is used as the catalyst, and is dispersed into a suitable solvent (alcohol or water) to form a solution. By controlling the pH value, the silicon source is hydrolyzed to obtain a sol system, and then aged to gel. Finally, the solvent is evaporated by heat treatment to obtain monodisperse silica nanoparticles, which is also referred to as the Stober method.

Technical Parameter

Status:White powder

Application Fields

1. Controllable particle size: By adjusting reaction conditions such as reactant concentration, reaction time, temperature, etc., the size of silica particles can be accurately controlled.

2. Good monodispersity: The prepared solid silica particles have good monodispersity, that is, the particle size distribution is relatively uniform.

3. Adjustable surface properties: Its surface chemical properties can be changed through subsequent surface modifications to meet different application requirements. Such as amination (APTES modification) and carboxylation (succinic anhydride modification).

Product Features

1. Chromatographic packing: Due to its good monodispersity and chemical stability, it can be used as a stationary phase packing in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography (GC).

2. Optical materials: used for preparing optical coatings, anti reflective films, etc., to improve the performance of optical devices.

3. Coatings and Coatings: Enhance the wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and hardness of coatings and coatings.

4. Biomedical field: Surface modification of specific antibodies or ligands for the isolation of specific types of cells. It can also be combined with fluorescent dyes or quantum dots for imaging of cells and tissues.

Okay for small projects, terrible for bigger or full sheet use.
Number of Items: 20
I needed some decals for light colored shirts but wanted something that felt better quality and gave me a higher quantity than the typical Avery brand iron on sheets. Avery is better. These no matter how much I ironed with my heat press or iron, a portion of the decal would not adhere to the shirt even after double checking the shirt materials and heat settings only the edges of the decal adhered to the shirt. The rest of the sheets either stayed stuck to the backing sheet or loose on the ironed shirt and quickly tore. I would not recommend these for professional small businesses or even the crafty mom. Not worth it. I purchased two boxes and still the same result with both. Do not waste you money like I did. You will be sorely disappointed.

Not for professional usage
Number of Items: 20
Image is a pain to adhere. Using my heat press even on a low setting caused serious sticking. Using the iron sucked because it took for ever to get the image to adhere to the shirt. It was so much stuck paper after cooling off, I ended up ruining 4 shirts.. I would not buy this again. If you are using just to try images and designs maybe, if using in a business manner I wouldn’t!

My Go-To Sublimation Paper — Flawless Results Every Time
Size: 8.5"x11", Size: 8.5"x11"
This is hands down the best sublimation paper I’ve used and the only one I continue to buy. I get a perfect transfer every single time—no fracturing, no fading, and no uneven results. The paper dries fast, which makes my workflow so much smoother, especially when I’m producing items in batches. I use this regularly to make air fresheners and tote bags for my small business, and the color payoff is always vibrant and crisp. The transfer rate is excellent, and it works beautifully on light-colored, high-quality polyester and other sublimation-ready surfaces. If you’re a small business owner or crafter who values consistency, quality, and ease of use, this paper is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend it and will continue to repurchase.

Best Sublimation Paper
Size: 8.5"x11"
I’ve been using A-Sub paper for my sublimation projects, and it is easily one of the best. The ink dries almost instantly once printed, so I don’t have to worry about smudging the design or getting those annoying "pizza wheel" marks from the printer rollers. The paper itself feels substantial and doesn't tear or curl easily. One of the biggest wins for me is that it never jams; it feeds through perfectly every time, saving me the frustration of wasting expensive ink and paper. When I go to press my designs, the ink releases almost completely, leaving very little behind on the paper and putting all that color onto the project. The final results look super professional, with colors that are vibrant and sharp rather than looking faded or dull. It has worked perfectly for everything I’ve tried so far, and if you want a reliable paper that gives you consistent, high-quality results, this is definitely the one to get.
