The state of Texas patented this huge rectangle of land, at the time considered by many to be part of "the great American desert," to the Capitol Freehold Land and Investment Company of Chicago, in exchange for funds to erect the state capitol building in Austin. This "desert" became a legend in the cattle business, and it remains today a memory to thousands who recall the era when mustangs and longhorns grazed beneath the brand of the XIT. The development and operation of this pastoral enterprise and its relation to the history of Texas is the subject of this great and widely discussed book by J. Decent for the price
Color: 2 Dark Brown, Color: 2 Dark Brown
Bought the color 2 thinking it would be brown but it’s almost Black (my own ignorance). I saw a YT vid by Kie Rashon where she sort of left the front of her hair out so I was hoping to do the same but it’s too dark for my hair (you can’t tell in the pics). I would recommend checking Kie out on YT for more details.
I do like it though so I will probably give this one to my sister and reorder a different color. Wish they provided pics of how the wig in other colors look.
Edit: So I repurchased this piece in DR Hazelnut Brown (the lighter color). I took some leave out in the front so please note that’s my hairline, not the wig’s. It blended well with my hair color. My texture is a little curlier but I just did a braid out on the front to help it blend. Wig tangles very easily. I’m going to experiment with co-washing to see if that reverts it to its origami condition.

After buying my first Outre wig I have bought several since until I bought this particular one and I was disappointed from the moment I open the package. The look, texture, fullness, or lack of fullness was very disappointing. The wig only cost 30.00 dollars but had I bought it in a wig shop it probably would have cost much more, but when you order online that is a chance that you take. I wouldn't recommend this particular wig if you are looking for the look that the picture portrays. Try one of Outre's others.
