This company brazenly published a radical, revolutionary message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the baptizing work of the Holy Spirit, sanctification, and the restoration of the New Testament church to her pristine glory. With intense passion, the pioneers strived to live out what Scripture teaches about the body of Christ, as well as to proclaim it boldly. They were more than merely implementing a radical theology of the church. They were convinced they were involved in a work of the Lord, who was doing an awesome supernatural work in the final days before His return. . . .

Powerful Words is not a comprehensive overview of the earliest history of the Church of God Reformation Movement. Powerful Words shares some of our pioneers’ writings about healing, miracles, spiritual gifts, consecration, prayer, unity, Holy Spirit baptism, church government, and deliverance. There are amazing stories about laborers of the stature of E. E. Byrum, O. L. Yerty and J. W. Byers in the ministry of healing and miracles. Many people went to camp meeting specifically to get healed.
