The MAKALU CORK FX TA is an ideal pole for hikers and backpackers looking for a foldable and adjustable pole made from durable, high-strength Aluminum, which provides incredible dependability in a lightweight package. The MAKALU CORK FX TA is infinitely adjustable between 110-130 cm. The Aergon Air grip is designed for optimal comfort and unrivaled ergonomics. The real cork grip is breathable and forms to your hand over time, making an already comfortable grip even better. The top of the grip is rubberized and oversized, providing a perfect platform to palm the top portion of the poles on long descents, taking strain off the wrist. The MAKALU CORK FX TA  comes with two interchangeable basket sets—a standard trekking basket for regular trail use and a larger tour basket designed for snowy conditions and true four season use. This pole also comes in a shorter, compact version with an adjustment range of 100-120 cm.
