Best Suited For

The Richmond Dog Bed is ideal if you're looking for a luxury nest dog bed that provides a cosy and secure sleeping environment. Its supportive raised sides and sherpa wool cushion appeal to dogs that naturally enjoy curling up, leaning into the sides of their bed or settling into a more enclosed resting space.

Available in sizes from extra small through to extra large, the Richmond suits a wide variety of breeds and households. Whether you're choosing a first bed for a puppy, replacing an older bed or upgrading to a more luxurious sleeping space, the Richmond delivers comfort, support and everyday practicality in a design that helps your dog feel relaxed and secure.

Nest Dog Bed With A Cosy Sleeping Space

The Richmond combines the comfort of a luxury nest dog bed with the supportive design many dogs naturally prefer. Its raised sides create a more enclosed sleeping environment, helping provide a comfortable space where dogs can curl up, settle in and relax throughout the day.

Many dogs instinctively seek out sleeping spaces that feel sheltered and secure. The Richmond's luxury nest dog bed design supports this behaviour by surrounding the sleeping area with soft, supportive sides that create a cosy place to rest while still providing plenty of room to change position when needed.

Whether your dog enjoys tucking themselves into a corner, curling up into a tight ball or resting against the sides of their bed, the Richmond adapts comfortably to a wide range of sleeping habits. The result is a cosy sleeping space that feels inviting from the moment your dog settles down.

If you're browsing our dog beds collection looking for a premium bed that prioritises comfort, security and relaxation, the Richmond is one of the standout options available.

Sherpa Wool Comfort For Dogs That Love To Curl Up

One of the Richmond's defining features is its luxurious sherpa wool inner cushion. Soft, warm and inviting, it creates a comfortable sleeping surface that many dogs naturally gravitate towards when it's time to rest.

The sherpa wool cushion works alongside the virgin fibre filling and supportive outer walls to create a bed that feels exceptionally cosy without sacrificing support. This combination helps make the Richmond particularly appealing for dogs that enjoy curling up and settling into a softer sleeping environment.

Unlike flatter mattress-style beds, the Richmond creates a more enclosed resting space where dogs can relax against the sides while enjoying the comfort of the sherpa wool cushion beneath them. For many dogs, this combination of softness and support helps encourage longer, more comfortable periods of rest.

Comfort means different things to different dogs, but if your dog enjoys warmth, security and a cosy place to curl up, the Richmond delivers a sleeping experience that stands out within the Ralph & Co range.

Removable Covers For Easier Cleaning

A dog bed quickly becomes part of everyday life. Muddy paws, shedding fur and daily use are all part of sharing your home with a dog, which is why practicality matters just as much as comfort.

The Richmond features removable covers that make routine cleaning far easier than with many traditional dog beds. Instead of struggling to clean the entire bed, you can remove the covers when needed to help keep your dog's sleeping space looking and feeling fresh.

This practical design makes the Richmond particularly well suited to active dogs and multi-pet households. If you want a luxury dog bed that remains easy to maintain over the long term, the removable covers help simplify everyday cleaning without compromising on comfort or appearance.

Combined with the durable outer fabric, quality construction and comfortable sherpa wool inner cushion, the Richmond is designed to provide lasting comfort while standing up to the demands of daily life.

Luxury Dog Bed Sizes From Puppy To Large Breed Dogs

Choosing the correct size dog bed is important for both comfort and support. A bed that is too small can restrict natural sleeping positions, while a bed that provides adequate space allows your dog to stretch out, curl up or change position comfortably throughout the day.

The Richmond is available in five sizes, making it suitable for a wide variety of breeds, life stages and sleeping habits.

X Small
45cm x 35cm x 20cm
Sleeping area: 33cm x 23cm
Suitable for toy breeds and puppies.

Small
55cm x 40cm x 22cm
Sleeping area: 42cm x 28cm
Suitable for Yorkshire Terriers, Chihuahuas and Pomeranians.

Medium
65cm x 45cm x 25cm
Sleeping area: 48cm x 34cm
Suitable for Miniature Dachshunds, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Pugs and French Bulldogs.

Large
70cm x 55cm x 28cm
Sleeping area: 50cm x 42cm
Suitable for Springer Spaniels, Cockapoos, Beagles, Cocker Spaniels and Staffordshire Bull Terriers.

Extra Large
90cm x 70cm x 32cm
Sleeping area: 72cm x 55cm
Suitable for Golden Retrievers, Vizslas, German Shepherds and Labradors.

If your dog falls between sizes or enjoys stretching out while sleeping, choosing the larger size often provides additional flexibility and comfort. As sleeping habits vary between individual dogs, measuring your dog's usual sleeping position before ordering can help ensure the best fit.

Backed By A 1-Year Warranty

Investing in a premium dog bed should come with confidence. The Richmond is backed by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects, providing additional reassurance when choosing a higher-quality sleeping space for your dog.

The warranty reflects the confidence Ralph & Co places in the bed's materials and construction, from the soft outer fabric and virgin fibre filling through to the removable covers and handcrafted finish.

While the warranty does not cover damage caused by chewing, teething or accidental misuse, it provides valuable peace of mind when investing in a bed designed for long-term everyday use.

Why The Richmond Dog Bed Stands Out

The Richmond succeeds because it combines cosy nest-bed comfort with the practicality needed for everyday life. The supportive raised sides, sherpa wool inner cushion and enclosed sleeping space work together to create a luxury nest dog bed that feels welcoming, secure and comfortable for dogs that enjoy curling up while they rest.

If you appreciate coordinated styling throughout your home, the Ralph & Co Richmond Luxury Dog Blanket complements the bed perfectly, creating a matching look throughout your dog's favourite resting spaces.

If you're comparing luxury comfort beds with specialist orthopaedic support, the Ralph & Co Highclere Orthopaedic Memory Foam Dog Bed offers additional memory foam support for dogs that may benefit from enhanced joint cushioning. Our guide on How To Choose The Best Orthopaedic Dog Bed For Your Dog can also help you understand the differences between luxury everyday beds and specialist support beds when choosing the most suitable option for your dog.

The Ralph & Co Richmond Luxury Nest Dog Bed offers a balance of comfort, security and craftsmanship that is difficult to match. Combining a cosy nest-bed design, luxurious sherpa wool comfort and practical everyday features, it provides a relaxing sleeping space that many dogs will look forward to returning to day after day.

Strong Omegaverse Comfort and a Attention Grabbing Plot
Format: Kindle
Jillian West never misses when it comes to Omegaverse, and Not Ready is no exception. This story was the perfect blend of cozy comfort and emotional depth while still delivering a strong plot. Vale is such a powerful heroine, she is strong, capable, and determined but I love that she still allows her pack to love and take care of her. It’s that balance of independence and vulnerability that makes her so relatable. The relationship dynamics were amazing: Bishop is steadfast and completely head over heels, Mercy is skeptical but protective in his own way, and Holt is the hesitant one whose slow fall is so satisfying to watch unfold. The romance hits that sweet spot between insta-love and cautious build, keeping me hooked the entire way through. And that ending. Oh my god, the cliffhanger! I need the next book in this duet immediately.

Interesting
Format: Kindle
So I will say I enjoyed the story, for sure had its moments where it dragged but it was a great story. I really liked that omegas picked their alphas/make the pack. Normally the Alphas make it and the omega fits in with them which is great but I enjoyed this new version where all the power basically went to the omega. It was a nice change of pace. I can admit some of the weird bedroom stuff with her being pregnant was odd, it’s really not hard to do stuff when pregnant (I know I’ve had two and it’s normal and even encouraged at the end especially if you want the baby out). But I like the story as a whole and will read the second, I do hope the next one isn’t dragged bc it stopped being action or tense after she met her alphas and I don’t think it was brought up or properly done when they tried to do it. More sweet after she left.

I’m a little disappointed.
Format: Kindle
I usually like Jillian West’s books but this one was missing a lot for me. The pregnancy didn’t come across as real. She’s on her feet for 12 hour days but is perfectly healthy at 8 months pregnant? Yet the week she moves in all of a sudden she’s not? She is planning on actually running during one of the plot buildups. But at 8 months pregnant that’s incredibly hard to do. The lack of breathing ability and lung space, the change in body center, mass, and gravity. All of it prohibits running, unless you’re an athlete this didn’t come off as at all realistic. I didn’t feel any connection with the alphas. There wasn’t any emotional connection. It could be because of the tense it was written in. But I didn’t get any deep feelings out of this. It came across as checking off boxes. Even the spicy scenes weren’t really believable for me. I wanted to see them fall for her, and it just kind of all fizzled. Even Bishop. One thing I did really like was the ending. I did not see it coming and I’m interested in reading book two because of it. But on the whole this book was mostly disappointing for me.

Vale is an 8 month pregnant omega working as a waitress at a strip club and a cam girl. She starts to get very creepy vibes from a regular at the club, and her baby daddy ghosted her. She has had an online relationship with a man named Bishop through her cam girl status. One night, bishop was paying to watch her sleep and ansthe creepy regular Andrew break in and watch her sleep he tells vale to come to him at his business now. She flees and finds herself at a large security company with some.hot of alphas who are there to help her. This imegaverse is a little different than I have read, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. Vale is not a traditional omega she was raised by a single beta mom, and the alphas are not normal alphas they have never really loved pack life. But they are ruthless mercenaries. They need her, and she needs them. I love the aspect of the stalker and now the plot twists at the end, so so good. Sometimes, it seemed a little slow and stale mated, but since this a duet, I think It was just her starting to have Vale get to know her alpha suitors. Cliffhanger for sure with this one.

That ending 😫
Format: Kindle
I fell into a false sense of security and really thought this was gearing towards a happy ending. Then I realized there’s no work they don’t punish Andrew. I really liked Vale’s character. I don’t normally read books with pregnancy but going into this knowing she was pregnant made it more enjoyable for me. I loved Bishops devotion to her and her happiness. I also loved that Holt and Mercy couldn’t fight their attraction to her. I love scent matches so very much. I’m so curious to see how this duet will end up. And I need to pay more attention and notice that a book I’m starting is a duet to begin with lol
