Join us for a very special two-day creative retreat exploring the mystery and magic of owls through expressive watercolour and mixed media.
Across the weekend, we’ll take a deep dive into atmosphere, texture, and tone — blending watercolour with ink, gouache, charcoal, and touches of gold leaf to create luminous, soulful studies.
- Day One is all about exploration — experimenting with composition, mark-making, and media to capture the essence of different owl species.
- Day Two offers time and guidance to develop a final, beautiful study of your choosing, drawing on the ideas and inspiration from the first day.
Guided by artist and tutor Kat Healy, you’ll be gently supported to work at your own pace, building confidence, curiosity, and expressive freedom.
Expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere, plenty of creative encouragement, and time to truly immerse yourself in mindful making.
