Throughout this adventure, your young artist will embark on four distinct creative explorations.

1. "Embroidery Basics" introduces them to tools, materials, and fundamental concepts like line and emphasis, preparing them to describe their work like true artists.
2. Next, in the "Stitch Sampler Triptych" adventure, they'll create a mini-handstitched piece, manipulating embroidery thread to practice threading, knot tying, and basic stitches while experimenting with varied tension.
3. The "Burlap Embroidery" adventure will guide them in creating a functional art piece, like a patch, using straight running stitches and the more challenging backstitch.

Outside the Box Creation's Digital Art Room is our platform for digital Art Adventures including a downloadable project guide, printable activity sheets, step-by-step video instructions, interactive games, resources for further learning, and supplies lists for the Adventures including recommended substitutions to help you utilize art materials you already have at home.
