Six Questions Your ABRA Auto Body & Glass Franchise Business Plan Must Answer

We developed this franchise unit business plan in Microsoft Word using our own independent research into the automotive repair market. All six chapters are pre-populated with data specific to opening and operating a single franchise unit, projecting first-year revenue of $2,125,000 and growing to over $4.3 million by year five. The entire document is fully editable, allowing you to fine-tune the plan to your specific location and financial situation.

Executive Summary: What's the core business case?

The plan is to launch a high-performing collision and glass repair franchise in a high-traffic metropolitan area, capturing demand from luxury vehicle owners, daily commuters, and commercial fleets. The business will leverage the franchisor's brand recognition and operational systems to achieve rapid market penetration and profitability, with revenues projected to exceed $4.3 million within five years.

Key Opportunity Highlights

  • Targeting high-value customer segments including luxury car owners and commercial fleets.
  • Strategic location near a major interstate provides constant visibility and access.
  • Leveraging a proven franchise model to minimize risk and accelerate growth.
[dynamic_pic9]

Products & Services: What will the franchise unit sell?

The franchise will offer a focused menu of high-demand automotive repair services, centered on the brand's core strengths in collision and glass repair. The service mix is designed to capture revenue from individual vehicle owners, insurance-paid claims, and recurring commercial fleet contracts, ensuring diverse and stable income streams from day one.

Primary Revenue Streams

  • Collision Body Repairs: Projected at $900,000 in the first year of operations.
  • Glass Repair & Replacement: A core service expected to generate $300,000 initially.
  • Fleet Repair Contracts: A key growth driver, starting at $150,000 in year one.
  • Mobile Glass Repairs: Offering convenience and capturing an additional $100,000 in revenue.
[dynamic_pic10]

Market Analysis: Who are the customers and competitors?

The primary customers are luxury vehicle owners, daily commuters from the nearby interstate, and local businesses with commercial fleets. The market is competitive, but our strategic location, focus on a 'concierge-first' customer experience, and strong brand recognition create a distinct advantage. Our plan focuses on securing a loyal customer base through superior service and efficient cycle times.

Local Market Focus

  • Luxury vehicle owners demanding high-end service and technical precision.
  • Daily commuters requiring rapid, reliable repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Commercial fleet managers seeking consistent, high-volume maintenance partners.
[dynamic_pic11]

Marketing & Sales: How will the unit attract customers?

Customer acquisition will be driven by a multi-channel strategy that includes building direct referral networks with local auto dealerships and insurance adjusters. This will be supported by localized digital marketing campaigns and a dedicated local advertising budget of $2,500 per month. The focus is on creating a steady flow of high-quality leads from both B2C and B2B channels to quickly ramp up sales.

Customer Acquisition Channels

  • Direct referral partnerships with luxury dealerships and insurance providers.
  • Localized digital marketing targeting specific customer segments in the metro area.
  • B2B outreach to secure high-volume commercial fleet contracts.
[dynamic_pic12]

Management & Organization: Who will run the business?

The franchise unit will be led by a full-time General Manager and an Operations Manager, overseeing a skilled team of technicians and service advisors. The staffing plan is designed to scale with revenue growth, starting with a core team of 12.5 full-time equivalent employees in year one. This structure ensures strong leadership and technical expertise to uphold the franchise's high standards for quality and customer service.

Key Roles and Staffing

  • General Manager ($100,000 annual salary) to oversee all operations and strategy.
  • Operations Manager ($85,000 annual salary) to manage day-to-day workflow.
  • Skilled technicians, including Collision Technicians, Auto Body Painters, and Glass Technicians.
[dynamic_pic13]

Financial Plan: What is the financial outlook?

The financial plan requires a significant initial investment, primarily for leasehold improvements ($600,000) and specialized equipment like a paint booth ($350,000). The unit is projected to reach breakeven within 4 months of opening (by April 2026) and generate $145,000 in EBITDA in its first year. While the payback period extends beyond five years, the model shows strong top-line growth and escalating profitability, with EBITDA reaching over $1 million by year five. This is defintely a long-term investment.

Financial Metrics and Assumptions

  • Projected Year 1 Revenue: $2,125,000.
  • Franchise Fees: A 5% royalty fee and a 1% marketing fee on gross sales.
  • Breakeven: Achieved in month 4 of operations.
  • Payback Period: Expected after year 5, reflecting a capital-intensive startup.

Highly recommended as a 2nd phone or primary phone if your needs are not too demanding
Color: Blue
I was looking for a small phone to replace my Jelly Pro/Palm. This phone resolves all the issues with thes older phones in regards to performance. Phone is very responsive and has minimum/no lag for my general use. The screen is clear and usable, though viewing take a slight hit when at more extreme angles. With Android 13 loaded, it allows me to use Android auto (Android 8 and the Jelly Pro/Palm doesn't support this ability). Unihertz has published that the phone will get Android 16 in April, 2026, bringing the OS up-to-date. Touch screen works better than either of the older phones and I have had no issues typing. Battery is much better than the prior phones, lasting about slightly less than my Pixel 9a. Charging is very quick given the small battery size the max charging speed of the phone. The phone is thicker than the other phones, but overall thickness actually makes the phone easier to handle. The phone works fine with T-Mobile. CONS The buttons are not placed well for me as a right-hander. It is awkward to reach the volume buttons. Also, the fingerprint reader is badly placed for such a small phone. I have to awkwardly squinch my finger to reach it. Additionally, it doesn't always read correctly. I do believe the camera is slightly better, but not close to a normal sized phone. It will work in a pinch, but wouldn't use it on vacation for memories I wanted to keep. The phone is missing the ability to support an eSim. The phone is larger and heavier than the older 2 phones, but this allows for the larger battery/longer run times. Also, the case it difficult to take off the first time to put in your SIM because of the shape of the phone. This is a great 2nd phone for use around your normal area of business or when exercising. If you take one phone when you travel, I would get a more flexible standard phone that supports eSim and has a camera that takes high quality pictures/video.

Sensible Phone.
Color: Blue
This is a life-changing device. Thank you, Unihertz for making it. It's really helpful if you have small hands and are tired of (physically and mentally) using a large phone. I have a behemoth in the form of S24 Ultra. I juts got so frustrated one day about its size and ordered this device. It's working great with my Mint Mobile; which uses T-Mobile's network. Apparently, AT&T doesn't work on this; so, watch out for that one. The size is perfect for reaching the top corners of the screen. Personally, I am able to type precisely. Google Keyboard's swiping function, as on other devices, helps greatly here too. It's a pleasure to hold a device of this size in my hands while making calls once again; takes me back to my dumb phone era days. It's perfect for not doom scrolling. The programmable button is great to save time. You can set it to any app you want. It offers three shortcuts with that button: a short click, a long press, and a double click. My short click opens up calculator; the long press activates flashlight (and turns it off); the double click opens up a third party timer app. I'm impressed by all the other features that device is able to house-- like, decibel level measuring app, a bubble level app, of course the IR blaster, a native compass app, etc. It's a thoughtful phone that works like a tool, rather than like a landmine of distraction and doom scrolling. It also works great with my Airpods. The fingerprint reader on my unit requires a precise placement of my finger. It's not too forgiving.

Great for decreasing screen time, a great phone with great features
Color: Blue, Color: Blue
I love the form factor of this phone. Perfect for those trying to decrease time spent online. Battery life is very good considering how small the phone is. I could often go 2 days without charging. Most apps work well, would occasionally have to turn the screen landscape to use some apps. My one complaint. The water resistance was not great in my experience. I took it on a run, and some sweat migrated between the screen and plastic case, and it was toast. (Pictured) I understand obviously phones can’t get wet, but when I tell you it was minimal. I truly loved this device…….if they would be willing to fix mine or send me another I would be ecstatic. If a version with better water resistance is released I will be buying.

Jelly Star mini smartphone is a bundle of joy
Color: Blue, Color: Blue
I've been using the Jelly Star about a week now and have no regrets about my purchase. I have the blue color and it's really pretty. This phone is as good as the reviews I researched said it was. Very fast, has all features of a regular smart phone but easy to hold in one hand and carry in pocket. This phone is 3/4" thick with a screen 2.75" x 1.5" and comes with a protective case. Good connection with T-Mobile cell towers, nice variety of ring tones, decent camera for snapshots. When it first arrived I was hesitant to commit, worried that with the tiny print I would struggle, but now that I got it connected I'm really happy with it. I'm old enough that without reading glasses, I need to squint to see the print in text messages, but it has a zoom feature that works well once you get used to it, and I plan to use other devices for viewing the images I take with it. Bought it mainly to have as a basic communication device that isn't bulky/in the way all the time. Don't have to constantly charge the battery either. Only using the phone for calls, texts, and WhatsApp; so far only need to charge it every 3 days. I took the time to research online how to stop apps from running in the background which should also help conserve the battery. I'm looking forward to loading music on it and maybe even taking it for a run once I get the headphones and armband accessories. I recommend it.

Screen Stopped Working Amazon Denied Refund
Color: Black
I bought this phone 2 months ago and within a week the screen stopped working. It stopped responding to any touch. I sent it back to Amazon in its original physical condition in its original packaging and ordered a second one. The second one has battery issues where it randomly starts heating up and dies within a couple of hours. Just found out amazon denied my return because they said the phone was damaged. It was not. I love the idea of the phone but the execution is poor and because there's no reliable way to get replacements I definitely would not recommend risking it.
