The Alta Handlebar Bag is our top-of-the-line handlebar bag and we make this one for the serious cycling tourist. The Alta is mounted to your handlebars by Lone Peak's quick release bracket, allowing your bag to be attached and detached instantly. The Lone Peak quick release system securely holds your bag in place and is super-easy to use on any handlebar set up. For added stability, each Alta Handlebar Bag is outfitted with a one-piece polyethylene stiffener that covers the mounted side of the bag (rear) and both sides. The Alta offers 1 main large compartment, one zippered front side pocket and two pleated mesh side pockets allowing you to carry water bottles, or other item you may need on the fly. When mounted, the Alta zippers up and away from the rider, offering you access on the go. The Alta also has one internal slip pocket for maps, smartphones, or other items that you want to keep separated from the main pocket. A convenient clear vinyl map pocket on the top lid allows you to view maps on the go and will also hold a phone and allow you to use your touch screen through the vinyl. The map pocket is securely closed with a hook and loop closure system. For extra visibility at night, 3M fabric is sewn to the front of the Alta and we also offer D-webbing attachment points for use with an optional shoulder strap.
