This piece brings together two worlds — 100% recycled sterling silver and a tumbled New Zealand Pounamu jade charm, carved from another maker’s offcuts. The result is a bracelet that’s simple, strong, and deeply meaningful, carrying both ancestral gravitas and modern ethical craftsmanship.

The bracelet itself is a 5.0mm sterling silver belcher chain, 7.5” (19 cm), unhallmarked but fully recycled — giving old silver a new life without additional mining. The clean circular links catch the light beautifully and offer a comfortable, everyday fit.

Hanging from it is a tumbled Pounamu nephrite jade charm, shaped from leftover fragments that would otherwise have been discarded. These offcut pieces come from Māori-style carving work and have been naturally rounded and polished in a tumbler, giving each charm a soft, organic, ocean-worn feel. No two pieces ever tumble the same way — your charm is genuinely one-of-a-kind.

The charm is attached with an open sterling jump ring so it can be removed, replaced, or paired with other charms as your story evolves. And if you want a full matching set, I can make you coordinated stud earrings, hoop earrings, or a curb chain pendant from the same batch of stone — just send a message.

Spiritual & Cultural Significance

Pounamu (New Zealand greenstone) is treasured for its strength, protection, and lineage. Traditionally gifted to mark connection and passage, it’s believed to hold the mana of all who shape, wear, or pass it on. Even these humble offcuts carry that history — fragments of a stone that has travelled through river, mountain, craftsman, and now you.

Wearing it on the wrist keeps the stone close to the pulse — a quiet anchor of calm, grounding, and resilience throughout the day.

Geology & Science

Pounamu nephrite jade is a tough, interlocking mineral formed deep within the South Island’s alpine fault zone.
• Mineral group: Amphibole-rich nephrite
• Chemical formula: Ca₂(Mg,Fe)₅Si₈O₂₂(OH)₂
• Hardness: ~6–6.5 on the Mohs scale
• Crystal habit: Felted, fibrous intergrowths that give nephrite its legendary toughness (tougher than steel by weight)

Its colour ranges from soft moss to deep forest green — each shade telling the geological story of its birthplace.

Features
• 5.0mm sterling silver belcher bracelet (recycled silver)
• 7.5” / 19 cm length
• Tumbled Pounamu greenstone jade charm — made from reclaimed carving offcuts
• Open jump ring for easy charm changes
• Lightweight, comfortable everyday wear
• Optional matching earrings or pendant available on request

Care

Wipe silver with a soft cloth to maintain shine.
Avoid harsh chemicals.
Jade charm can be gently rinsed or wiped — it’s tougher than it looks.

Pretty funny
Format: Hardcover
The book gives us a more focused outlook on Chieg Wiggum. Full of its funny moments, I`d recomend this to huge Simpsons fans as it seems the shows writers managed to give us another hit.

Not the best, but not the worst either
Format: Hardcover
By any means not the funniest book in the series, only the one on Krusty the Clown was more un-funny; but still a worthy addition to your collection and, just like all the others from the series providing a retrospective of anecdotes you might have forgotten.

Not that great
Huge "The Simpsons" fan. I watched all the episodes and read a lot of the comics and enjoy most. This one however was quite boring. Turns out I'm just not a big fan of Chief Wiggum. I really enjoyed The "Homer" and "Bart" book. But not this one. Maybe if you love Wiggum you'll love it. If you're not too fond of him then I wouldn't buy it.
