The Mackie SR 24-4·2 is a classic large-format 24-channel, 4-bus analog console from the era when these desks were built to live in clubs, studios, and mobile rigs and just work. It’s straightforward, rugged, and known for clean, usable preamps and a layout that makes sense the moment you sit down. If you want hands-on mixing without menus, this is that kind of board.

Condition:
Used, vintage condition with normal cosmetic wear you’d expect from a working console of this age. The board has been tested and functions as it should. Expect scuffs and signs of use, but nothing that gets in the way of doing its job. This is a workhorse analog desk, not a collector piece.

This is a great fit for a rehearsal space, small venue, church, or project studio that wants lots of inputs and real faders without spending modern-digital-console money.

Great office space divider without being suffocating

This is a nice option for dividing up your office space. It's lightweight enough to be moved when needed, but large enough to create a sound and sight barrier between desks. The window design at the top also allows light through so that you don't like you are boxed in. Overall, this is a great office divider. It's well made, large enough to make a difference, and portable if you need to move it. And it does this without making you feel like you're in a box thanks to the fluted clear window at the top. It does the job I need it to.

Light commercial grade quality

This VERSARE hush screen portable divider appears to be well made and of light commercial grade quality. The lightweight aircraft aluminum frame and black fabric panel aren’t as heavy duty as the commercial grade steel panels of years past, but this panel certainly has adequate durability for home or office use. The sleek modern style is aesthetically pleasing, definitely appropriate for commercial applications, it doesn’t look cheap, or out of place. It’s freestanding and portable, with optional locking wheels, measuring 4’ wide X 6’ tall. The top panel is made of a clear fluted fiberglass, providing a window for natural light to filter through. I’m currently using it in my home office to partition of a separate workspace for my college student. It works very well for my purpose, I now have two relatively private workspaces in one office. It’s fairly easy to assemble, but the instructions could be more detailed and illustrative. One thing that I don’t like about it, is that the legs only slide in place, but they don’t bolt to the frame, allowing the legs to slide out of place when the panel is lifted up. The problem isn’t as magnified with the wheels installed, because the panel is then rolled, rather than lifted. It would be much easier to lift and move if the legs were bolted in place. But since I won’t be moving the divider very often, it’s not a deal breaker. Overall, I’m very pleased with the quality and look of this portable divider. At just under $555, it’s perhaps a tad bit overpriced, but still a reasonably good value. I recommend this VERSARE portable divider for home or office applications.
