Although Midwest dog crate pans are made from high-quality, strong, flexible ABS plastic they are not indestructible. They are designed to be tough, but also comfortable. If you have a particularly lively dog, or an aggressive chewer it is possible that your dog could damage the pan. To increase the life of your pan, please consider placing some cushioning between the pan and the wire crate, such as cardboard or a piece of padded fabric.
