The Pimp Stick – Carbon Rod PDR Tool | Druz Toolz

When it comes to precision, power, and comfort in Paintless Dent Repair, The Pimp Stick by Druz Toolz sets a new standard. Designed for serious PDR technicians who demand maximum strength without the weight, this tool offers an exceptional blend of durability, responsiveness, and lightweight construction. The Pimp Stick is engineered from a solid carbon fiber rod combined with a precision-machined billet aluminum handle and double-sided head, delivering unmatched push power with zero flex.

Whether you’re working on roofs, rails, overhead panels, or hard-to-reach spots, The Pimp Stick makes all-day pushing easier. Its long 47-inch (121.9 cm) length gives you the reach you need while weighing just 16 ounces (500 grams) without tips—meaning fatigue is greatly reduced even on long jobs.

Designed with flexibility in mind, The Pimp Stick accepts all standard 5/16-18 threaded tips (sold separately), allowing you to customize your setup with titanium, stainless steel, peek, plastic, aluminum, or match-grade tips based on the job requirements. As Druz Toolz’s first fully in-house machined tool, The Pimp Stick represents a major advancement in tool quality and innovation for paintless dent repair professionals.

Premium Carbon Rod Construction for Strength and Lightness

The core of The Pimp Stick is a solid carbon fiber rod, selected specifically for its incredible strength-to-weight ratio. Carbon fiber is well known for being both extremely strong and lightweight, making it the ideal material for PDR tools that require precision and durability without unnecessary bulk. This material choice sets The Pimp Stick apart from traditional steel or aluminum rods, offering superior rigidity while remaining easy to handle throughout the day.

Unlike hollow rods or composite shafts that can flex under pressure, The Pimp Stick’s solid carbon construction provides virtually zero flex. This means every push is precise and powerful, allowing technicians to deliver consistent, high-quality results on delicate or stubborn dents. The rigidity also improves feedback—essential for feeling the dent’s contours and applying exactly the right amount of force.

Billet Aluminum Handle and Double-Sided Head for Balance and Control

Complementing the carbon rod is a precision-machined billet aluminum handle and double-sided head. The handle is ergonomically designed for comfortable grip and control, helping reduce hand fatigue during extended use. Aluminum is both durable and lightweight, further enhancing the tool’s overall ease of use without sacrificing strength.

The double-sided head design offers versatility for a variety of PDR techniques. Technicians can quickly switch sides depending on the dent’s shape and location, improving workflow efficiency. The sturdy billet aluminum construction guarantees that the handle and head can withstand the repeated impacts and stresses of professional dent repair without loosening or damage.

Perfect Length and Weight for Overhead and Long Sessions

Measuring a generous 47 inches (121.9 cm), The Pimp Stick provides extended reach, making it ideal for overhead work, roofs, door rails, and other difficult-to-access panels. This length lets techs work comfortably without excessive bending or repositioning, saving time and reducing strain on the body.

Despite its length, the tool weighs only 16 ounces (500 grams) without tips—remarkably light compared to traditional steel rods of similar size. The combination of light weight and length reduces fatigue and helps maintain steady control during long sessions. PDR professionals who frequently work on large vehicles or hail damage will appreciate the endurance benefits The Pimp Stick delivers.

Universal Tip Compatibility for Maximum Customization

The Pimp Stick accepts all standard 5/16-18 threaded tips, giving technicians complete freedom to tailor their tool to each job’s specific demands. This compatibility covers a broad range of tip materials and styles, including:

  • Titanium tips for maximum durability and strength

  • Stainless steel tips for reliable everyday use

  • Peek tips for delicate panel work

  • Plastic tips to protect paint finishes

  • Aluminum tips for lightweight applications

  • Match-grade tips for specialized repairs

This flexibility makes The Pimp Stick a truly versatile tool, suitable for a wide variety of dents, panel types, and repair techniques. It allows PDR techs to adapt quickly without switching tools, increasing productivity and quality.

Built for the Professional PDR Technician

As the first fully in-house machined tool from Druz Toolz, The Pimp Stick reflects the company’s commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and meeting the highest professional standards. Every component is manufactured with precision, ensuring consistent performance and reliability.

The tool’s robust build, advanced materials, and thoughtful design make it an essential addition to any serious PDR technician’s kit. Whether you’re a shop tech or mobile operator, The Pimp Stick is engineered to help you get the job done faster, cleaner, and with greater confidence.

Far from enthralling, but I did learn
Format: Paperback
This book was a disappointment. It looked like exactly what I was looking for: an overview of the history, society, and culture of Egypt from ancient to modern times that wasn't 500+ pages long. I did learn a fair bit of information, but unfortunately, the book is far from "enthralling." It reads like a high school student's book report. In addition, it sometimes just throws terms out there with no explanation, and I found myself having to consult Google. For example, it says "Since hieroglyphs were difficult to create, the Egyptians developed hieretic writing, which was a type of cursive script. Later, demotic writing was developed for ordinary documents." What is demotic writing? How is it different from hieretic? The book doesn't even provide a picture. I had to go to Wikipedia to find out what these things are. This book needs slightly more detail and an author with better writing style / storytelling abilities. That said, it still may be the best short introduction available.
