These prints were created as part of the VACMA (Visual Artists and Craft Makers Award) which Kat received in spring 2023.

The original pieces were lightly sketched in charcoal and then painted in a warm, neutral palette of watercolours inspired by the East Lothian landscape on archival Saunders Waterford paper.

The piece reflects the interesting markings found on the Eurasian Curlew. With wisps of lines and watermarks included to reflect the folklore in the song that inspired this particular series of studies, 'Dream Angus'.

Printed on fine art paper, they come mounted, backed and wrapped which is ideal for framing.
