Keep your Jeep Wrangler YJ and Wrangler TJ cool with the Mishimoto Performance Fan Shroud Kit! This direct-fit YJ / TJ electric fan shroud setup completely eliminates the stock mechanical fan. The fan shroud mounts directly to the stock radiator and Mishimoto Jeep Wrangler Performance Radiator and includes a 16" High-Flow Electric Fan that produces over 1850 cfm of airflow. Optionally, this kit can include a MishimotoAdjustable Fan Controller Kit, which will provide the user with total control over coolant temperatures. The Engineers at Mishimoto designed drain ports on the bottom of this YJ and TJ fan shroud to allow for water drainage during off-road conditions. The Mishimoto Jeep Wrangler YJ and TJ Fan Shroud Kit includes all hardware and brackets required for installation and is compatible with the stock expansion tank and power steering reservoir. Whether you have a 2.5L I-4 or 4.0L I-6, all brackets are included with this kit so you don’t need to order additional components! This fan shroud has a brushed finish that provides a subtle accent for your engine bay. As with all our performance Jeep Wrangler parts, this fan shroud kit includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty you know and trust.

This is a very nice product. It works as advertised. It appears to be reasonably well made too. I'd give it 5 stars, but I have a few gripes that force me to subtract 1 star: 1) Price. While it appears to be pretty well made and is quite attractive in appearance, it doesn't quite have the feel and heft of a $109 gadget. It is at least twice the price of any other pro-level, instant-read thermometer available on Amazon. Hopefully it will provide years of accurate, durable, reliable use, befitting of its hefty price tag. 2) The screw on the battery compartment cover gave me fits. It took a little more elbow grease than I expected to get it to turn, making me more than a bit concerned that I might strip the screw. 3) The "Careful it's sharp" warning label affixed to the probe itself was practically *glued* on. I had to carefully use a razor blade to get it off, and even then, there was a lot of residual adhesive and bits of the label stuck to the probe--and under my thumbnail too! I had to take out my Goo Gone adhesive remover to clean the probe of the adhesive and leftover bits of label, and also to extract the crap out from under my thumbnail...these are NOT steps I wanted or needed to take to put this thing into service! Jeez! Anyway, I'll update this review after I get a few months of use out of the Typhur InstaProbe.
