Kalita Records announce the first official reissue of the Sophisticated Ladies' sought-after disco single This Ain't Really Love (1980), backed by a Mighty Zaf edit of "Check It Out", and accompanied by interview-based liner notes. Formed in 1955, the Sophisticated Ladies started their recording life as R&B girl group The Bobbettes, consisting of five female vocalists. The group was signed to Atlantic Records and known for their 1957 hit single "Mr. Lee". With the emergence of the disco era, the Bobbettes changed their name to the Sophisticated Ladies, allowing the change from a girl group to a disco outfit.

98% cotton comfort

It's true to size. I have a 42" chest and typically wear a large. I ordered large and it fits. Grab these while you can as most of these mock neck t shirts are a cotton poly blend. These are 98% cotton. This is important because although the cotton/poly blends dry quicker, they are uncomfortably warm if it gets above 70 F. I have purchased other mock turtlenecks and had my local dry cleaners convert them from long sleeves to short, but they are slightly heavier weight than these. I do wish that they made these in a dark green or military green color.

100% SYNTHETIC CONSTRUCTION!!!

When I bought this shirt, the listing claimed it was 95% cotton and 5% spandex... the shirt that arrived was 51% polyester, 43% viscose and 6% spandex! I have been impressed by some of their other clothing, but this is the first time I was completely lied to and bamboozled. I probably wouldn't have noticed if the shirt wasn't so hot, shiny, and uncomfortable! I will absolutely be returning this shirt. Not even CLOSE to what I wanted. Quite, quite disappointed.
