About the Author

Arthur Lemos was born in and has lived most of his life in Mount Vernon, New York. He currently lives in Camillus, New York. A retired public school music teacher, he holds a bachelor of science degree in music education from New York University and a master of arts degree in school administration and supervision from Montclair State University in New Jersey. He is a member of the National Education Association, the Portuguese Civic Association of New York State, and the Portuguese American Club. He was decorated by the government of Portugal with the medal of the Order of Merit. He is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, and Who's Who in the World. His interests include travel, sports, computers, movies, history, science, and social studies.
