Mr Bourne requests the pleasure of company on board the steam yacht Alberta

Frederick Bourne was a businessman who was president of Singer Sewing Machines and built a mansion on 5th Avenue.

Commodore Frederick Gilbert Bourne (December 20, 1851 – March 9, 1919) was an American businessman. He was the fifth president of the Singer Manufacturing Company, from 1889 to 1905. He made the business "perhaps the first modern multinational industrial enterprise of any nationality".

Residences

Bourne owned several homes and estates. He maintained an apartment at The Dakota in New York City, which occupied the entire first floor; he owned a 2,000-acre (4 km2) country estate named Indian Neck Hall in Oakdale on Long Island next to Idle Hour, the estate of William Kissam Vanderbilt; he owned a 375-acre farm near Montauk, New York, which he used as an undeveloped hunting preserve; an apartment on Jekyll Island, Georgia; and the 7-acre Dark Island in the Thousand Islands in the St. Lawrence River.

In 1902, Bourne hired architect Ernest Flagg to build him a small hunting lodge on the Dark Island property. The building was based on a book written by Sir Walter Scott in 1826 called Woodstock. This book describes an elegant castle with secret passageways, tunnels, and a dungeon. Today, the castle is known as Singer Castle.

A sailing enthusiast, Bourne served as a Commodore of the New York Yacht Club. He was also a member of the famous Jekyll Island Club (aka The Millionaires Club) on Jekyll Island, Georgia. Bourne owned many boats that he frequently used in New York City and at his summer home in the Thousand Islands.

FGB was an avid boater and owned boats of all types and sizes, from small speedboats to large steam yachts. Among his better known yachts were the Delaware, the Colonia, the Alberta, and the Artemis. He was a member of several yacht clubs in the area, including the New York Yacht Club and the Seawanhaka-Corinthian Yacht Club. In 1903 he was named Commodore of the NYYC, a position he would hold until 1905. His steam yacht Delaware was the flagship of the yacht Club during most of his term as its commodore. This yacht was 350 feet long and had a crew of over 100 men.

Bright & Pretty Hot Pink.
Color: Pitaya Red, Color: Pitaya Red
Very pretty and bright. It’s thick and great quality. Strong grip and doesn’t come off easily. Easy to clean when it gets dirty. It also has a nice backing. I prefer the transparent bright pink backing than the clear version. I love the strong magnetic for when I position it upwards. It can be positioned downwards too.

Very protective iPad case
Color: 1-Navy Blue
This MoKo iPad case is excellent! It fits perfectly and provides great protection without adding bulk. The navy blue color looks very sleek, and the translucent back shell is a nice touch. It’s super magnetic, with great padding. The smart cover works flawlessly with the auto wake/sleep feature, and the cutouts line up perfectly for Touch ID. Lightweight, durable, and a fantastic value!

Fits the new iPad. Buttons are easy to reach, and it protects the screen with a soft fell back. Easy white clean vinyl on the outside. It has open vent spots so your device can cool. Slim and sleek. A great value for the money. Buttons are easily accessible. High-quality.

Perfect, it fits like a glove.
Color: 1-Navy Blue
I really liked the sleeve, the navy blue color looks very elegant and the material feels resistant but soft to the touch. What I like the most is that the back is translucent, so you still see the design of the tablet. It works great for watching videos because it stands firm when folding it, and turning off the screen alone when closing it is very practical. Because of the price it has, the quality is excellent.

Great Protective Case for My Mother’s iPad
Color: 2-Watermelon Red, Color: 2-Watermelon Red
I bought this case along with my mother’s new iPad, and it was the perfect choice. The watermelon red color looks beautiful with the pink iPad and gives it a very clean and stylish look. The case feels sturdy without adding too much weight, which makes it comfortable for her to carry around and use every day. The stand feature works really well for watching videos, reading, and video calls. I also like that the case supports the auto wake and sleep function, which makes the iPad feel even more convenient and easy to use. The cutouts fit perfectly, and Touch ID still works without any issues. The translucent back is a nice touch because it still lets the iPad color show through while keeping it protected from scratches and bumps. Overall, this case exceeded expectations and makes a great addition for anyone wanting both protection and style for their iPad.
