The Hollyland 1/4" Cold Shoe Mount (Model: HL-CS01) is an official OEM rigging accessory designed to mount Mars and Pyro series wireless video transmitters, receivers, or field monitors directly onto a camera cage or hot shoe.

Unlike articulating swivel-mounts, this low-profile adapter provides a fixed, ultra-stable attachment point. It is optimized for setups where you want your wireless hardware locked flush and perfectly straight relative to your camera rig—such as mounting a transmitter tightly inside a production cage, underneath a top handle, or directly onto a compact mirrorless hot shoe.

Core Mechanical & Rigging Features

• Compact, Low-Profile Footprint: By eliminating adjustable swivel joints, this mount keeps your transmitter or monitor sitting as close to the camera body as possible. This lowers the center of gravity of your entire camera build, improving handheld balance and reducing structural leverage on the hot shoe.

• Standard 1/4"-20 Threaded Post: Features a hardened 1/4"-20 steel male stud on top that threads into the native mounting points on the bottom or sides of your wireless video hardware.

• Dual-Stage Knurled Locking Rings: Equipped with two independent, textured thumbscrews. The top ring spins upwards to tighten firmly against the base of your transmitter to eliminate twisting. The lower ring clamps downwards to lock the foot securely inside the cold shoe receiver slot.

On-Set Anti-Twist Rigging Advice: Because a single 1/4"-20 screw lacks retractable anti-rotation pins, sudden camera pans or rough movements can cause a wireless transmitter to occasionally spin loose or twist sideways over the course of a long production day. When locking this cold shoe adapter down, always drive the top knurled ring firmly against the transmitter housing. For a completely bulletproof mount, you can gently slide a small hex key or camera tool through the holes in the knurled ring to get extra leverage, locking it flush to eliminate any possible play.
