About the Artisan
LunaTe is a 5-year-old herbalist shop based in the rural region of Calderon in Quito, Ecuador. LunaTe is family-owned, operated, and has a deep family history of herbal knowledge. They create fruit infusions, tea infusions, seasoned salt, dried fruit, and healing teas mixed based on the needs of their clients.
The founder and heart of the company, Gladys Morales, is a granddaughter of one of Quito’s curanderas and parteras - a folk healer and midwife. Now, knowledge and passion for herbology live in Gladys’ family and business.
