Instead of smoothing over contemporary art's violent and iconoclastic dimensions, instead of sanitizing and making complex artworks docile in terms of archival possibilities, this book suggests we abandon our fantasy of mastery over representation and respond in kind to the archive-as-artwork, to "living" archives, and to reenactments of history with their seamless connections between fiction and non-fiction. Among the concepts examined are Vil m Flusser's techno-imagination, Lygia Clark's and H lio Oiticica's participatory aesthetics, and Paulo Bruscky's and Eduardo Kac's literal performances of the archive. They contribute to the erosion of the archive's former boundaries, stability, function, and meaning. Writing alongside the artists as much as about them, Osthoff examines the archive mise-en-abyme, as it grows increasingly recombinant and generative. Simone Osthoff received her Ph.D. from the European Graduate School and is Associate Professor of Critical Studies in the School of Visual Arts at Pennsylvania State University. Not the least bit durable

This is not durable! My pup had a hole in it in 5 minutes and a leg torn off in 3 days. He is not an aggressive chewer even....typically we have to replace toys because the squeaker has died, never because he tore it out!

Adorable but not Durable
Color: Blue
While this toy was super adorable and our 1 year old puppy loved it. The colors were bright and vivid, and it made fun wrinkling sounds he absolutely loved.
However we were lucky if it lasted 20 minutes. Within minutes the crinkle paper was coming out and it basically fell apart, and he's not a destructive pup.

A Must-Have for Toy-Loving Pups!
My Frenchie is obsessed with this Pawatoga bottle toy! The design is adorable and such a fun twist, but what impressed me most is how durable it’s been. He’s been chewing, tossing, and carrying it around non-stop, and it’s still holding up perfectly.
The plush exterior is soft enough for him to snuggle, but the construction is sturdy enough to survive his play sessions. Bonus points for how easy it is to clean and how cute it looks when he’s “sipping” from it!
If your dog loves plush toys but you’re tired of them falling apart in a day, this one’s definitely worth it. Stylish, tough, and totally pup-approved.
