Mookaite is a truly stunning stone with earthy hues of reds, yellows and purples. It’s formed from the microscopic remains of tiny radiolarians which in turn create the sedimentary rock structure that forms Mookaite crystal. This fascinating process occurs in only one place in the world, within the Kennedy Ranges near Gascoyne Junction, Windalia Radiolarite, Western Australia.
Mookaite is comprised of chert, opalite, chalcedony, or combinations of all three. It belongs to the Jasper family and shows off its beauty with unrivalled bold elegance. They are incredibly soulful stones that can heal stress and fear while simultaneously giving you a deepening of your creativity and connection to self and source. This aboriginal stone is also known as the Mother Earth stone, due to its immensely influential and healing capacities and connection abilities to the Earth’s energy.
