Inspired by coveted Limoges boxes, this hinged curiosity will harbour a teensy treasure. Cleopatra is one of many famous divas who gloried in the luxury of her chaise lounge. These clever little creations were status symbols of the wealthy and used as a place to catch one’s breath when corsets were too tight or as an alternative to a bed during an afternoon respite. A radiant scarlet-and-gold petite couch bedecked with clear shimmering gems secretly stores a cache of hidden treasures and serves as your own little status symbol sweetly poised upon a boudoir tray or a bookshelf. 3 x 4” Enameled with glass stones.
