Description

The Message of Moral Ethics (Magna Moralia): . . : . . . . . An enticing glimpse into our new book: Aristotles The Great Ethics (Magna Moralia) in the Arabic language. A rare intellectual journey that takes the Arabic reader to the heart of Aristotelian ethical thought. Despite what the title suggests, The Great Ethics is actually the smallest and most concise of his ethical works. This historical work opens the door to deep critical debate regarding its place within the Aristotelian heritage:

An enticing glimpse into our new book: Aristotle’s The Great Ethics (Magna Moralia) in the Arabic language.

A rare intellectual journey that takes the Arabic reader to the heart of Aristotelian ethical thought. Despite what the title suggests, The Great Ethics is actually the smallest and most concise of his ethical works.

This historical work opens the door to deep critical debate regarding its place within the Aristotelian heritage: Is it a manifestation of pure demonstrative evidence, or a summary that opens a new horizon for us in ethics?

This book has finally been translated into Arabic for the first time. The Arabic reader can now engage with a vital part of human ethical and intellectual development without the barriers of exclusion or inaccurate translation.

In our exclusive translation, we have linked The Great Ethics to the spirit and discussions of the Nicomachean Ethics at the level of core passages. This highlights the philosophical cohesion and structural debate in a way that allows for deep understanding and facilitates logical reasoning.

We present a precise and rigorous reading that contributes to historical criticism by clarifying the differences between various perspectives in the history of the "First Teacher’s" books. It evaluates the progression of his writings on ethics—whether The Great Ethics represents a decisive link in the chain of Aristotelian ethics, or a summary whose importance may vary depending on the reading.

If you are a researcher seeking translation accuracy, or a reader wishing to follow the Aristotelian ethical dialogue in a new Arabic horizon, this first-ever Arabic translation of Aristotle’s The Great Ethics will be a reliable and inspiring guide to the depth of ethical thought in the "First Teacher."

Explore the depth of vision, track the connection between the original text and this new translation, and compare it with the venerable Nicomachean Ethics. Join us in opening a new chapter in understanding the study of philosophical ethics and virtue by a philosopher who braved time to formulate them for humanity in precise and condensed language.

Great Book.
Format: Mass Market Paperback
Its great to be able to go back and read Stokely Carmichael today in his own words. This book provides an excellent overview of what black power means and how the concept originated. Although the book seems a bit dated today, many of the ideas presented are still entirely relevant. Ive only given the book four stars due to its age. Many of the statistics presented are dated, and undoubtedly there are other texts available today that present these ideas in a much better/newer way. But if you are interested in Stokely Carmichael and what he stood for, this is the book to read.

Format: Paperback
Excellent articulation of the Black Power initiative within the Civil Rights Movement. A detailed view of Black Power, it's objectives, how these would be achieved, as well as it's misinterpretations. An afterword from each author appended in 1992 provides insight, reflection, and perspective on all that's changed, and what hasn't, since the book's publishing.

Any book with the name Stokely Carmichael is a rare find. You can easily find the same book with Kwame Ture as the author since he changed his name and so later editions reflects the name change. Kwame Ture (fka Stokely Carmichael) changed his name for a reason. However, those of us from the sixties can never forget him nor the name Stokely Carmichael.
