It features a short, flexible cuff that adjusts with a paracord and an insulated fleece liner that is easily removed to wash and dry after a day’s skiing. The hardwearing, treated goatskin palm provides perfect grip around poles.

The Wakayama Jr Mitt takes its short, flexible cuff from the adult model of the same name. However, the material is different and the junior version combines hardwearing goatskin with weather-resistant, breathable 3-layer polyamide. This makes it great for young skiers who spend long days in snowy terrain.
The removable liner is sewn in hardwearing fleece with warming synthetic insulation. Easy to remove and hang to dry after a day’s skiing, or to wash when dirty. The fit around the wrist is adjusted with paracord, and a wrist strap reduces the risk of losing a glove, for example on a ski lift.
Like all mittens, it offers extra warmth for those who are prone to cold fingers. Also available in a 5-finger version.
