Six Questions Your Allegra Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We built this financial model using detailed research into the unit economics of a high-touch marketing and print services center. Key assumptions, including the 6% royalty fees and $9,500 monthly rent, are pre-populated and fully editable to match your specific location. With Year 1 revenue projected at $653,000, this tool helps you map a clear path to the $171,000 EBITDA target in Year 5.

When does the unit turn a profit?

The unit reaches its monthly break-even point in July 2026, just seven months after opening. To be fair, bottom-line profitability takes longer; the model shows the unit turning EBITDA positive in Year 4 as high-margin marketing consultancy and retainer agreements begin to scale.

Maximize Store Margin

  • Upsell high-margin consultancy services
  • Lock in recurring retainer contracts
  • Optimize paper and ink waste
[dynamic_pic9]

How much capital is required?

You will need approximately $520,000 to launch this unit, which covers the $45,000 franchise fee and significant capital expenditure planning for production gear. This startup budget worksheet for service-based franchise includes $180,000 for leasehold improvements and $120,000 for printing presses to meet the 24-hour turnaround brand standard.

Primary Capital Uses

  • $180,000 for Leasehold Improvements
  • $120,000 for Printing Presses
  • $75,000 for Design Studio Fitout
[dynamic_pic10]

What is the return on investment?

This ROI analysis shows a five-year IRR of -3.4%, reflecting the high initial investment and the time needed to build a B2B client base. Payback on your initial $520,000 capital occurs after Year 5, so this is defintely a long-term play focused on essential financial metrics for print shop owners like lifetime client value.

Key Investment Metrics

  • -3.4% Internal Rate of Return
  • Payback period after Year 5
  • 11.3% Year 5 EBITDA margin
[dynamic_pic11]

Where is the break-even point?

The monthly break-even point is achieved seven months after the March 2026 launch, provided you hit the $653,000 Year 1 revenue target. The primary driver for reaching this point is sales volume, as your $9,500 monthly rent and $85,000 general manager salary create a high fixed-cost floor.

Levers for Faster Break-even

  • Secure 3+ retainer clients early
  • Minimize pre-opening rent periods
  • Use tiered staffing during ramp-up
[dynamic_pic12]

What is the cash runway?

Your lowest cash point hits $210,000 in late 2029, meaning you need a significant cash buffer to survive the early years of negative EBITDA. This financial feasibility study for local marketing franchise suggests keeping at least six months of operating expenses in reserve to handle the ramp-up of the account management team.

Cash Flow Protection

  • Lease equipment to preserve cash
  • Negotiate rent abatement periods
  • Phase in sales rep hires
[dynamic_pic13]

How do scenarios change outcomes?

In a high-growth scenario, aggressive local marketing execution can pull the Year 4 EBITDA well above the $39,000 baseline. This pre-written excel template for franchise business planning allows you to see how a 10% drop in revenue would extend your payback period and increase your peak cash need during the first three years.

Driving High-Case Results

  • Aggressive local B2B networking
  • Superior 24-hour service delivery
  • High retention of retainer clients

A great value for a state of the art monitor.
I use two of these at my home work station. I am not a gamer, I use these mainly for working on multiple spread sheets and financial programs. The high pixel count of these 8k video displays makes it easy to read the screens. I have Windows 11 on my computer, so installation of the 3 monitors was easy. I have my computer monitor set at 150% and these two monitors set at 125% magnification. All three are at eye level. They came with display port cables which my computer and hubs do not have, so I in a 8K HDMI cable for each. I do play a few videos, and those look great. The curved screen helps in keeping all the monitor sort of equidistant from my eyes which helps everything on the 3 screens stay in focus for my 80 year old eyes. I have reflections on my computer screen, but both of these Koorui monitors are reflection free. I first went to Costco to pick up a monitor and this allowed me to zero in that I wanted the 8k and curved screen in a 24 or 27 inch monitor. They did not have that combination. I tried just one of the Koorui monitors along with my older monitor. The Koorui was so far superior that I quickly purchased the second one and tossed out my outdated one. I use these for hours each day, and at this low price I feel I can easily justify this investment. I feel secure these monitors will be with me for a long time.

This sucks.
Well i picked this up on sale for black friday and finally got around to installing my new video card, psu, extra ssd, and finally hooking up this new monitor. The new video card doesn't have a spot for the cable from my old 1080p monitor, so this is the only monitor i can use. It's christmas eve btw. Anyways the monitor fires up fine and looks great for about 6 hours of use. Then as i'm getting ready to boot up elden ring a big vertical magenta line of pixels appears on the right half of the screen, as well as a grey horizontal line of pixels. I didn't do anything before this happened, the monitor was sitting completely still on my desk. One second it worked the next i've got this line. I tested another cable, and while unplugging the displayport cable from the monitor the pink line stayed there as it was registering "no input." So it's definitely the monitor that's broken and not something wrong with my video card or software. I tried contacting technical support early in the morning and still haven't received anything at 5 pm. I realize it's christmas eve but I'm now stuck without a functioning monitor for probably my entire time off for christmas, and will have to pay return shipping, which soaks up all the money i saved getting it on sale. Over all i'm very unhappy with this purchase. edit: Koorui, the manufacturer, never got back to me about the broken monitor they sent me, so i contacted amazon and told them my situation. they told me they couldn't send a replacement because it wasn't available, even though you can order the exact monitor off amazon through prime right now. this order was a critical failure in service with both koorui and amazon. they can't seem to lift a finger for someone who paid them money for a product they sell. they want me to ship the monitor back, receive my money back, then purchase the same monitor for a higher price from them. I'm changing my review to 1 star and i would give 0 stars if i could. unbelievable. edit: ok i shipped the monitor back. they sent me a replacement monitor and this monitor also does not work. it doesn't turn on. i plugged it into both a surge protector and a power strip, then switched the cable and it doesn't turn on. i would be extremely wary of this company and their products. edit 2: by far my worst purchasing experience on amazon. with the second broken monitor they shipped me the support guy actually asked if i would take it to a tv repair shop. i told him we don't have that in the united states and returned the item for a full refund. they got to keep my $150 for about 3 months though. these people should not be allowed to sell on amazon.

Koorui 34E6UC (34" 3440×1440, 180 Hz, 1000R curved VA panel) — But Missing Info Buyers Should Know
Size: 34"/WQHD/1000R/HDR400
Review: I purchased two of the Koorui 34‑inch curved ultrawide monitors for a dual‑monitor setup, and so far I’m very pleased with them. The picture quality is sharp, the brightness is solid, and the “Normal” color preset looks natural without any adjustments. For the price, these 34‑inch panels deliver very good performance. That said, there are a few important details the product listing and reviews don’t mention — and knowing them ahead of time would have saved me some stress during installation. 1. YES, the 34‑inch model DOES include stand‑offs (spacers) This is not mentioned anywhere in the listing, and even Amazon’s Rufus incorrectly says they are *not* included. They actually come in the small accessory packet with the manual. If you’re mounting these monitors, you will need those stand‑offs because of the recessed VESA pattern. They are already in the box — just not advertised. I rushed to order a separate spacer kit because the listing didn’t mention it, so I’m putting this here to help the next person avoid that. 2. One of my monitors flashed briefly until I disabled FreeSync On one of the two monitors, I noticed a quick bright “flash” when moving the mouse. Turning off Adaptive Sync / FreeSync in the monitor’s menu fixed it instantly. The other monitor didn’t have this issue, so it seems to vary by panel. Not a defect — just something to be aware of if you see flicker or brightness pops. 3. Color and brightness match well once set manually After setting both monitors to the same brightness, contrast, and color mode, they match very well side‑by‑side. The “Normal” color preset looks the most accurate on these VA panels. 4. Build quality and packaging are solid Both monitors arrived well‑protected, and the included cables work fine. The stand is basic, but I’m using monitor arms, so that wasn’t a factor for me. 5. Too early to comment on long‑term support or durability I’ve only had these monitors set up for a few hours, so I can’t speak yet to long‑term reliability or how responsive Koorui’s support is. I’ll update this review if anything changes over time. Bottom line: These 34‑inch Koorui ultrawides are excellent for the price, especially for gaming or a dual‑monitor setup. Just be aware that: - Stand‑offs ARE included (despite the listing not saying so) - FreeSync may need to be turned off on some units - Picture quality is great once you match settings manually - Long‑term support is still unknown If the listing had mentioned the included spacers, it would have saved me a last‑minute order — so I hope this review helps the next person.

Awesome monitor! (my 3 year review)
So I've owned this monitor for about 3 years now and here's what I have to say about this monitor. The picture quality is actually really good. I got the 1080p version and I mostly use it with my Xbox series x and occasionally will use it for some lighter gaming on my gaming PC both work effortlessly well. The screen size is okay I think next time if it's in the budget I'll buy there 34 inch curved monitor. But for right now I'm sticking with this monitor until it dies and so far it's running strong 3 years later. Right now this monitor cost $80 which is an absolute steal at that price. I paid $130 for it and would say it's absolutely worth getting. There's no flickering. The setup process went smoothly. It's compatible with both my console and gaming PC! I absolutely love this monitor! I don't own the 27 inch version but I'd recommend going with either that size or bigger if you can afford it.
