Iceberg Trim Scapes are handmade in my Gander, NL, studio and inspired by the majestic ice formations we see every year, along the shores of home.
I first started exploring what I could create with crown moulding to give scrap material a new life, but I began to see familiar shapes form in the puzzle-like creations I call Trim Scapes. The intricate details of trim and the natural shapes of the iconic Icebergs capture a piece of Newfoundland's rugged beauty that is– for me, at least– always impossible to capture on my phone.
