The Milesight UG56 is a high-performance, 8-channel indoor LoRaWAN® gateway designed for reliable connectivity in smart building, smart industry, and other indoor applications. It features a powerful quad-core processor and the Semtech SX1302 LoRa chip, enabling it to handle a high volume of traffic and connect with over 2000 LoRaWAN® nodes. With a line-of-sight range of up to 15 km and coverage of approximately 2 km in urban environments, the UG56 ensures extensive and dependable network access.
Seamless Integration and Versatile Backhaul
This gateway offers multiple backhaul connectivity options, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and 4G LTE cellular, ensuring your network remains online. The UG56 comes with a built-in network server and is also compatible with major third-party network servers like The Things Stack (TTN), ChirpStack, and Everynet, providing flexibility for your IoT deployments. Its compact design allows for easy installation on a desktop, wall, or DIN rail.
Advanced Features for Scalable Networks
The UG56 is packed with advanced features to simplify network management and deployment. The "Gateway Fleet" function allows multiple agent gateways to transmit data to a single controller gateway, streamlining network architecture. It also supports "Listen Before Talk," which helps to reduce channel conflicts in dense deployments. For enhanced security, it supports multiple VPNs such as IPsec, OpenVPN, and L2TP. The gateway also supports BACnet/IP and Modbus, allowing for easy integration of LoRaWAN data into existing Building Management Systems (BMS) or PLC systems.
