  • Vegan-friendly construction with sizes from kids through adults so that teams can kit up across age groups.

Product Description

Built for speed, shaped by experience

GT4 starts with Bont’s last, refined over decades by founder and designer Mr. Inze Bont. That foundation creates the close, performance fit skaters expect from an inline speed skate, so your foot sits low and locked in, ready to push through corners and accelerate cleanly. Bont builds the shell using one-piece manufacturing, a technique usually reserved for higher-priced custom boots, to create a stiff, consistent platform that does not rely on multiple glued sections. The result is a boot that feels planted, transmits energy efficiently, and stays true to its shape season after season.

Carbon composite base with custom comfort

Under the microfiber skin is a carbon composite base laminated with Bont’s epoxy thermoset resin. This resin system allows targeted heat molding so you can fine-tune hot spots and pressure points for a glove-like feel. If you have ever struggled with numb toes or ankle rub, the GT4 gives you that extra adjustability to dial it in. For oven and spot molding guidance, follow Bont’s heat molding instructions for composite boots.

A quick note on molding terminology. GT4 does not include additional thermoplastic sheets inside the boot, a feature found on some Bont models to expand the molding range. Many skaters do not require that level of reshaping, and the GT4’s resin-based heat molding provides ample fine-tuning for most feet. This keeps weight low and value high while preserving the secure feel that speed skaters prefer.

Fit that lasts

Stretch can quietly ruin a boot’s performance over time. Bont weaves an anti-stretch material into the boot’s structure, stitch-locking it between the skin and liner. This reinforcement helps the upper resist creep so the fit you love on day one stays consistent through hundreds of training hours. Fewer mid-season surprises, more predictable edge control.

Practical performance for real-world training

GT4 is built to be skated hard. The carbon composite construction strikes a balance between stiffness for strong pushes and a touch of forgiveness for imperfect roads. The 12 mm pitch suits modern racing technique, promoting stable knee tracking and efficient under-body weight transfer. Vents at the tongue help manage heat on summer sessions, and the micro-adjust buckle and laces let you set and forget before you roll out.

Mounting and compatibility

The boot uses standard 2-point mounting across common spacings, so it integrates easily with Bont’s 2PF racing frames as well as many third-party options. That means you can start with your current frame and wheels, then upgrade components over time without changing your boot fit. For riders building a full package, Bont’s 6061 frames are a reliable match with proven durability for training and race days alike.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the GT4 boot heat moldable?
Yes. The carbon composite base uses Bont’s epoxy thermoset resin, which allows heat molding for fit refinement. Follow Bont’s heat molding guide for composite boots to adjust specific areas safely.

How does GT4 differ from the Jet boot?
GT4 does not include additional thermoplastic sheets inside the boot, which some riders use for more extensive reshaping in an oven. Many skaters do not need that extra range, and GT4’s resin-based molding covers typical hot spot adjustments while keeping the package lighter and cost-effective.

What frames and wheels work with the GT4?
Most 2 point racing frame within standard mount spacings, 195 mm, will fit. Pair it with Bont’s 2PF 6061 frames and Elemental training wheels for a reliable all-around setup, or mount your preferred racing frame and speed skate wheels based on surface and distance.

A Worthy Upgrade to an Already Legendary Mouse
    Color: Graphite, Pattern Name: Mouse
I’ve been a fan of Logitech’s MX Master line for years — my old MX Master 2S chugged along for almost six years of daily use before finally showing signs of wear. When I saw the newest version with “Ultra‑Fast Scrolling” and haptic feedback, I decided to treat myself. It was absolutely worth it. The ergonomic shape is familiar and comfortable; it still fits my hand like a glove. The new MagSpeed scroll wheel is pure magic: it can click through spreadsheets one line at a time or spin freely to zip through long documents, and you can feel a gentle vibration thanks to the customizable haptics. I didn’t think I’d care about haptic feedback in a mouse, but it makes the scroll and gesture controls feel precise and satisfying. Connectivity has improved, too. It pairs via Bluetooth or the included receiver and can switch between three devices. The 8k DPI sensor tracks on glass and just about any surface, which means I’ve stopped lugging around a mouse pad when I travel. Logitech’s Options+ software lets me assign shortcuts and macros to the side buttons, and the new Actions Ring shortcuts promise to save time by putting common tools under my thumb. Have I mentioned the battery life yet? I don't think I've had to charge this once since I got it over a month and a half ago. According to Windows BT settings, it's still at 40%+. Impressive! It also charges via USB-C so no need for an unnecessary micro-USB cable on my desk. If I had to nitpick, the price is on the high side — but considering how long my last MX Master lasted, I see it as an investment. Overall, this is the best productivity mouse I’ve ever used, and it’s a joy to see the MX series continue to get better.

    Must have!
Color: Pale Gray, Pattern Name: Mouse, Color: Pale Gray, Pattern Name: Mouse
After using the MX Master 4 for a few days, I can honestly say this is one of the best mice I’ve ever owned. The ergonomic shape feels incredibly comfortable during long workdays, especially if you spend hours at a computer. The scrolling is smooth, the clicks feel premium, and the customization options make multitasking so much easier. The battery life is excellent, and switching between devices is seamless. It also looks very clean and modern on the desk. Definitely feels like a high-end productivity tool rather than just a basic mouse. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely.

Great mouse, but not a huge leap from previous MX Masters
Color: Pale Gray, Pattern Name: Mouse
I’ve used pretty much every mouse in the MX Master series over the years, so I had a good idea of what to expect going into this—and overall, it’s still a really solid mouse. The ergonomics are excellent, just like the previous versions. It fits the hand really naturally and is comfortable for long work sessions. That’s honestly one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back to this lineup. The scroll wheel is still a standout feature. The ultra-fast scrolling is incredibly smooth and makes a big difference when you’re going through long documents or web pages. Switching between free spin and precision scrolling works flawlessly. Build quality is top-notch as expected. Everything feels premium, from the materials to the button clicks. No complaints there at all. That said, if you’ve already used previous MX Master models, this doesn’t feel like a major upgrade. It’s more of a refinement than anything new or groundbreaking. It does everything well—but it doesn’t necessarily wow you if you’re coming from something like the MX Master 3 or 3S. Overall, still a great mouse and easy to recommend—especially if you’re new to the MX Master series. But if you already have a recent model, just know this is more of an incremental improvement than a big jump.

    Quality materials, great mouse
    Color: Graphite, Pattern Name: Mouse
I have gone through many mice looking for one that feels 'just right'. This is it. The shape is perfect for my hand, the haptic feedback is nice, if not very useful to me, and the smoothness with which it moves across my pad is well worth the price alone. Nicely configurable in the Logi app. One note - It's fine for me, but this is a very large mouse.

One Mouse to Bind Them, in the Long Hours of the Desk
    Color: Graphite, Pattern Name: Mouse
It was the winter of the endless scroll, when the days in River Grove stretched thin and pale as old parchment and the light from the monitor became the only sun we knew, that my old mouse—poor, faithful thing—began its slow betrayal. Clicks faltered like the last breath of a dying Rohirrim steed; the wheel spun loose and reckless, sending spreadsheets cascading into chaos as though the very order of Middle-earth had unraveled; the cursor wandered with the aimless grief of a man who has lost his king. I sat there in the dim room above the garage, wrist aching like the shoulder that once bore the weight of Andúril, staring at the screen while deadlines crept closer, silent and inexorable as the shadow over Mordor. Then the Logitech MX Master 4 arrived, graphite-dark as the armor of Isildur’s line, shaped not for haste but for endurance, its curves rising like the hills of the Shire remade for the hand of a weary scribe. I took it up and felt the weight settle—not heavy, but certain, as though the mouse itself understood the gravity of long labor. The MagSpeed wheel turned under my thumb with the smooth inevitability of the Anduin in flood, ultra-fast when the document must race to its end, precise when a single pixel demanded mercy. The haptic feedback thrummed beneath my fingers like the deep pulse of the earth when the Ents march—subtle, insistent, alive. Every scroll, every gesture carried the quiet authority of a thing forged to outlast lesser tools. It paired without ceremony—Bluetooth to the laptop, Logi Bolt to the desktop—crossing between machines as swiftly as the Eagles bore Gandalf from the tower, no fumbling, no oaths sworn in frustration. The side buttons waited like loyal vassals: one to summon the hidden application switcher, another to gesture across screens as though drawing maps of realms unseen. The gesture button itself became my quiet command—thumb pressed, fingers sweeping, and windows arranged themselves in obedient array, the way the hosts of the West might have arrayed themselves upon the Pelennor Fields. And when the battery whispered low, the USB-C cord drank from the wall like a pilgrim at the fountains of Imladris, three hours of life from a single minute’s charge. I have worked with it now through the gray mornings when the snow muffled every sound outside, through the late nights when the house slept and only the cursor moved, through the sudden urgent revisions that once would have left me cursing the heavens. It does not slip. It does not tire. It endures, as the light of Eärendil endures above the storm, a small fierce companion against the gathering hours. If your days are measured in documents and deadlines, in the slow turning of wheels both literal and metaphorical, take this MX Master 4. It is not mere plastic and circuit; it is covenant between hand and machine, a shield against the tedium of the long watch, the fellowship your desk has hungered for in its quiet exile. Ten stars out of five, though the heavens ration light to fewer. I would carry it into the Cracks of Doom itself and fear no misclick. 🖱️🧙‍♂️📜🌑
