Fast and cheap transportation props up industrial societies, both for the moving of people and cargo. However, our transport networks are very wasteful of energy and utterly dependent on fossil fuels. In this series of articles, Low-tech Magazine critically examines the call for electrified vehicles, which depend on unsustainable batteries and infrastructures. Much more important than the chosen power source is vehicle design: size, weight, speed, acceleration, and comfort level. Furthermore, public transport is more resource efficient, and we could electrify it without batteries. The book's second part deals with long-distance transportation: planes, trains, sailing ships, and ocean liners. By placing transportation technology in a historical context, Low-tech Magazine challenges our high-tech approach to sustainability and highlights the possibilities of alternative solutions.

Extra durable and hard
Flavor Name: Marshmallow & Peanut Butter, Size: Large
Much harder and tougher than most of the chews and bones I get. Too tough for my own dog, but it’s become a favorite of two other dogs in my life who are stronger chewers. Also looks adorable when they carry it around.

Treasured chew toy
Flavor Name: Marshmallow & Peanut Butter, Size: Large
I'm on my 2nd one of these as my dog is obsessed with it! He's a heavy chewers and the 1st one lasted 1 month. Held up pretty well for his strong jaws and he loves it. Great buy!

Terrific! Much easier to use than Kongs and my dog loves it.
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter, Size: Medium
I like these so much better than the original Kongs. The large opening makes it so much easier to put peanut butter or cream cheese into it. Plus much easier to clean out afterwards. My dog also likes to chew it and play with it throwing it in the air after he’s done eating the peanut butter. Very sturdy - he chews apart stuffed toys but his chewing hasn’t damaged this at all. I highly recommend this product!

Great for strong chewing dogs. Entertaining too!
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter, Size: Medium
My black lab can destroy the toughest of dog chew toys, but he's not destroyed this peanut. I fill it with peanut butter, yogurt, pumpkin or apple sauce and freeze it. It keeps him entertained for quite a while. When the filling is gone, he leaves it alone or carries it around begging for a filled one.
