A striking and highly minimalist original exhibition poster from 1986, created for the exhibition Contemporary Japan in the Drawings of Japanese Cartoonists, held at the Museum of Caricature in Warsaw, Poland.

Attributed to Japanese artist and cartoonist Tadahito Kuseki, the design is exceptionally powerful in its simplicity: sharp black abstract forms frame a vivid red sun, instantly evoking the Japanese flag and the visual language of Japanese ink painting and calligraphy. The composition balances silence, tension, and elegance in a way that feels remarkably modern even today.

The poster combines Eastern aesthetics with the bold graphic experimentation that made Polish poster design world-famous during the second half of the 20th century.
