About the Author

Carol Lodzinski grew up in New Jersey, where she and her family spent much time near the water, crabbing, fishing, and waterskiing. Surrounded by nature and great neighbors, there were plenty of opportunities, from berry-picking and learning to collect honey from a neighbor who raised bees, to a nearby stable where she could go horseback riding.

More than anything, Lodzinski remembers the front porch of their bungalow, which was perfect for sunny days—or stormy nights, when her mother would tell her and her brother Richard the most amazing stories. It was those stories that inspired Lodzinski’s love of storytelling.

Another excellent product from this brand. I have type 1 rosacea on my cheeks, even when I avoid triggers (like red wine, warm weather, etc.), and very sensitive skin overall. I've been using the cicalfate serum from this brand for the sensitivity, but it didn't help the redness. After two weeks of using this twice daily, I noticed a significant difference. After a month, I had no redness unless I encountered a trigger. Even then, the intensity of the redness seemed less. I tried going without this product for a month when the first bottle ran out, and sadly, the redness started coming back within a cycle of weeks. I've got this on auto-delivery now, along with the cicalfate serum. I never want to be without it!
