Tanita Tikaram celebrates her 50th birthday with the release of a brand new collection of 14 songs spanning over thirty years and nine albums. To Drink The Rainbow is the third release on Needle Mythology - the label co-founded by record collector, music writer and broadcaster Pete Paphides. Of the release, Pete says, "Tanita is best-known for Twist In My Sobriety, but in the ensuing decades, she's amassed an incredible body of work. As she's matured, her curiosity and enthusiasm have helped shape a very different artist to the teenage Virginia Woolf obsessive a lot of people remember from those early Top of the Pops appearances. No-one else sounds like her; and when it comes to direct, emotionally disarming melodies, she's one of my all-time favourites. "Tanita collaborated closely on the selection of songs for the record, providing notes for each of the twelve songs on the record. Standouts include Only The Ones We Love, featuring beautiful harmonies from Jennifer Warnes, who reached out to Tanita after hearing her multi-million selling debut album Ancient Heart; the startlingly raw intimacies of My Love and the title track, of which she says, "There's a scene Fantasia where the cherubs drink the rainbow. The symbolism of the rainbow touches on a lot of different things that are close to me. "To Drink The Rainbow is the third release on Needle Mythology, following the label's universally acclaimed expanded reissues of Stephen Duffy's I Love My Friends and Ian Broudie's Tales Told. As with those records, the artwork of To Drink The Rainbow is unique to this release. The songs included on To Drink The Rainbow were specially mastered by Miles Showell at Abbey Road for 180g vinyl. The album has been pressed at the old EMI pressing plant in Hayes Middlesex, now operated by Vinyl Factory. To Drink The Rainbow will be released on gatefold vinyl and CD. The vinyl pressing will come witha two-track seven-inch EP featuring two songs previously unavailable on vinyl: an acoustic version of Ancient Heart, and an earl

Comfortable QUAY quality sunglasses

QUAY is one of my favorite sunglass brands and these sunglasses definitely don't disappoint! They're very comfortable and fit well on my face. They're lightweight which I love but also have the quality I have come to expect from QUAY. The only thing that would make me like them more is if the lenses were a little darker.. I prefer darker lenses as I have very light sensitive eyes.

Thick, robust and the perfect blend of dressy/casual

To be honest this is my first pair of sunglasses that costs more than $25. I never really knew why one would spend more on something you might sit on or lose. Decided to try these after realizing I wanted better clarity in the lenses. First impression on trying them on was the weight difference. These are quite a bit heavier than my cheaper pairs. Once I examined the materials I could see why. The build quality is excellent. The tortoise pattern is rich and looks high quality. Love the polished metal accents. At first I was a little leary about the metal on the front edges (i'm not a very "shiny" guy") but now I think it helps strike a balance between dressier glasses and casual. Very glad I stuck with these through the first few awkward moments. Wasn't sure about the shape at first but now i'm locked in. Curious to see what else Quay has to offer!

Stylish looks, good lenses, warped frame?

These sunglasses have nice build quality and good lenses on them. The green tint is not too strong and the style is excellent. My frames sit crooked on my face out of the box and they do not lay evenly on the counter when laying them down on the top surface. you can tap on one of the arms and the frames wobble. Looking at the main piece where the lenses are, the whole thing appears to be slightly twisted., which would explain the crooked fit on my face. Granted, our faces and ears aren't usually perfectly symmetrical, but this seems to be a fault of the sunglasses. I have tried lightly bending and twisting the frames to straighten them out, but I have not been entirely successful in doing so in fear of breaking them. They are comfortable to wear and look pretty stylish, but some information on adjusting the frames would be nice.
