The COB LED strip light in the kit comes in three colour temperatures: cool white, natural white, and warm white. Cool white has a bluish tint, while natural white has no hints of yellow or blue. On the other hand, warm white has a yellowish shade. The cool white or natural white strip can be used under kitchen cabinets as task lighting, while the warm white option can be attached to display cabinets for accent lighting. Besides that, the strips include 480 LED chips per metre, providing a constant and even glow without displaying a "dotted" effect.
The kit, including a 5-meter LED strip light and a plug-in power supply, is quick and easy to install. The strip is also made with a 3M adhesive backing, which you only need to peel and stick! Note that the LED strip is 8mm thick, so if you choose to enclose it in an LED profile, the profile should be spacious enough to accommodate its dimensions.
LED lighting is known for its exceptional efficiency, converting most of the electricity it consumes into light. This strip in this kit is powered by that same technology, so it only requires 36w of power per 5 metres to produce a maximum brightness of 3600 lumens with a wide 180-degree beam angle. Also, since it's IP20-rated, it's only ideal for indoor use and unsuitable for splash zones where jets of water may come into contact with it.
