The history of underground electronic music is littered with inspired releases that, for one reason or other, slipped through the cracks. It would be fair to say that Trans-4M's 1992 debut album, Sublunar Oracles, is one such release. The full-length originally appeared on Belgian dance music megalith Buzz, an imprint whose output tended towards the more commercial end of the dance music market. Initially, Sublunar Oracles failed to make much impact and was championed only by a small group of chill-out DJs; these days, it's rightly considered a lost classic and one of the most overlooked albums of the ambient house era. It was the product of the blossoming studio relationship between brothers Stefan and Dimitri Van Elsen. The former, the elder of the two, had been making a living as a club DJ on the Belgian scene since the early 1980s, taking up electronic music production following years spent playing experimental and industrial fare on local pirate station Radio Centraal. Dimitri, meanwhile, spent his days studying jazz piano and his evenings working on tracks. The chance to release a collection of their bedroom productions came via a friend who worked for Buzz. The Van Elsen brothers grasped the opportunity, sequencing and tweaking a set of evocative, otherworldly tracks that had initially been written and produced over the best part of four years. Despite Stefan's status as a working club DJ, Sublunar Oracles largely looked towards the vibrant chill-out and ambient house scenes for inspiration, combining their own manipulated synthesizer sounds, dreamy jazz chord progressions, and gentle beats with a smorgasbord of spoken word samples and home-made field recordings. The Antwerp-based brothers designed the set as a concept album of sorts, with a clear narrative thread running through the album's eight intoxicating and ethereal tracks. However, they never made this concept public, and it's down to a new generation of listeners to piece together the story themselves. 26 years on from it's initial release, the Van Elsens' lost classic is getting a new lease of life via a Safe Trip reissue that stretches the original's eight inspired tracks over two heavyweight slabs of wax. Beginning with the breakbeat-driven bliss of "Arrival", the album bobs and weaves it's way through deep ambient house, sublime horizontal soundscapes, saxophone-laden electronic mysticism, dusty downtempo grooves and glassy-eyed positivity.

Well worth the inexpensive price.
Color: Aqua, Size: 2 Bowls, Color: Aqua, Size: 2 Bowls
Easy to make delicious ice cream.
Pros-ice cream is churned and ready to eat in 20 minutes.
Easy to clean. Just a quick hand wash of bowl, lid and paddle.
Fantastic taste. Much better than store bought with nothing but what you put in it.
Cons-it can churn 3/4 cup at a time. So if your like me you want more there isn't any. I knew this and choose the small version on purpose so I couldn't eat more.
A little noisy but not bad. The video makes it seem louder than it is.
You do have to plan ahead. Make your ice cream base and chill it. Also the mug has to freeze atleast 24 hrs. I didn't find this to be a issue. I store the mugs in the freezer. If I plan to have ice cream for dessert, I make my base in the morning and refrigerate it. Than I churn the ice cream while I'm making dinner. 20 minutes later it's done. I freeze it while we eat and it's ready for after dinner. So it's not as easy as just going to your freezer and taking out a pint of ice cream and eating it. You do have to plan ahead. It's worth the extra effort to have fresh ice cream you made yourself. It's a great beginner ice cream maker. Oh and don't use a metal spoon, always use a rubber spatula or you will scratch your mug like i did.

Works great! Easy to use & clean
Color: Aqua, Size: 2 Bowls
I love this ice cream maker. It not only works great it's the perfect size and easy to use and clean. I was hesitant to try it because of the negative reviews but I'm glad I didn't listen to those people and just gave it a try. I put very little effort into using it and it turned out great every time. Not sure why some people had problems with it or if it was just user error or inability to follow directions. But i found it super easy to use and very versatile. I put the mug/bowl in the freezer for 2 days first to make sure it was sufficiently cold. The first thing i made was simple vanilla ice cream using the recipe in the book (although i didn't even measure exact amounts, i just guessed and eyed it). Poured the milk/cream/sugar combo in and let it go for about 25 minutes. Poured in some chocolate syrup in at the end and had myself some yummy perfect chocolate ice cream. It was on the softer side which is how i prefer ice cream so it was perfect for me. Also i noticed if you eat out of the frozen bowl it stays cold longer and if you push the ice cream around to the sides as you're eating it, it continues to freeze and harden. Transferring it to a different container will only make it melt faster. The second thing i made was a fruit sorbet sort of thing. I did this last minute with no plan and it turned out great. It was super hot and i was making a fruit smoothie, then decided to pour my smoothie into the ice cream maker to see what would happen. It was literally just bereies, juice and a little milk. After 25 minutes this turned into a fruity iced treat that was super delicious and perfect on a 90 degree day. The next thing i tried was putting in yogurt mixed with milk and juice and this turned out as a creamy mix between ice cream and iced slushy. I'm amazed at all the different creations you can make with this thing and how simple it is to use. Also clean up is quick and easy which i like. Having 2 bowls seems like the best idea, especially for a single person, as you always have one in the freezer ready to use. This makes the perfect amount for one person but it can make enough for 2 even in one bowl. This is a great product especially for the price. Glad i didn't get one of those expensive ice cream makers that probably doesn't even work as well. If you have been wanting to make your own ice cream or iced/cold treats/concoctions, then give this a try. Don't listen to the negative reviews because this thing is awesome and works great! So glad I finally got one.

Easy homemade ice cream for one or 2
Color: Aqua, Size: 2 Bowls
Works really well. This is great for when you want 1 or 2 servings of a little frozen yogurt or other frozen treat. The recipe booklet gives a good idea of the ratios you need, so you can make your own recipe or use one of theirs. I found it freezes pretty quickly, usually before the 20 minutes it says to plan on. Happy with this purchase.
