The Elements of Music: Melody, Rhythm, & HarmonyThis groundbreaking book presents the elements of music in a way that is pedagogically clear and comprehensible, by building upon simple principles of proportion and relationship. These in turn are corresponded to language as musical metaphor. This groundbreaking book presents the elements of music in a way that is pedagogically clear and comprehensible, by building upon simple principles of proportion and relationship. These in turn are corresponded to language as musical metaphor. This, in combination with novel graphics and symbols, carries the reader to a basic understanding of melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic principles, as well as Western musical notation. A great primer on music theory for the novice or professional, as well as an invaluable resource for composers and students, it includes the following:
- A rich unfolding of metaphors and illustrations to elucidate a notoriously impenetrable and abstract subject.
- The properties of the overtone series and how it influences harmonic and melodic thought.
- A discussion of epigrams and dialectics exploring how meaning is carried through time.
- Rhythm and meter as the marking of time and the organization of it into self-similar structures.
- From the circle of fifths to intervals, triads, and later seventh chords and extensions.
- How major/minor key tonality and modulation occur, and how they differ from music based upon drones or other types of scales.
- How form and structure reflect the relationship of humans to time and emotional states.
- A wealth of scales, rhythmic patterns, and notation references in the appendices.

Easy but not strong
I would not put a lot of weight in the baskets though. I was changing one shelve to a differebt level and the hook just broke off. I was very gentle with this thing and never put a lot of weight on it, yet the hook came clean off and now I can't hang the shelf at that level. It either has to be too low (makes it difficult to hang clothing on the upper level coat hooks) or too high (makes it difficult to get items into the shelf because it is almost touching the top shelf). This over the door rack/shelf was so easy to install, pretty much a child could do it. Love how I can change which hook the shelves go onto and that their is two rows of coat hooks. Fantastic addition to any room that does not have an ideal amount of storage.

Great product at a good price
Color: Black, Size: Medium
This sink caddy is made of sturdy material and helpful for holding the stuff on the edge of my sink. It's nice to be able to move the little drain spout to accommodate where I set it. It also allows me to move the divider to accommodate the size of what I put in there, so that's nice. It has an overall nice look. removing the tray to wash it out is very helpful. The only thing I don't care for is that sometimes when I grab the dish cloth, the little rod pops out. However, this is a minor inconvenience, and only when I'm in a hurry to grab the cloth. The price is very reasonable for the sturdy material.

Keeps my sink area neat and organized
Color: Black, Size: Medium
Really happy with this sink caddy! The 304 stainless steel feels sturdy and looks nice, and the auto drain spout keeps water from pooling on the counter. The divided sections easily hold my sponge, brush, and soap bottle without taking up much space. I also like the removable towel bar and that there was no installation needed. Redy to use right out of the box. Simple, practical, and very useful for keeping the sink area tidy.

it is good quality
Color: Black, Size: Medium
this is very sleek and handy. I like how it looks and sits on the counter. One thought the part the holds the dish cloth falls off when I take the dish cloth off. It is a minor issue, however, if there was a way to clip it more secure to the item, this would be ideal. thank yoo

Most importantly, its drainage system directs water into the tank, keeping it dry.
Color: Black, Size: Medium
This drain rack is small and fits perfectly on the edge of my sink. It's just the right size to hold hand soap and dishcloths, doesn't take up much space, and most importantly, it directs water directly into the sink, keeping it dry and keeping my sink clean and tidy.
