Gianni Russo was a handsome 25-year-old mobster with no acting experience when he walked onto the set of The Godfather and entered Hollywood history. He played Carlo Rizzi, the husband of Connie Corleone, who set her brother Sonny--played by James Caan--up for a hit. Russo didn't have to act--he knew the mob inside and out: from his childhood in Little Italy, where Mafia legend Frank Costello took him under his wing, to acting as a messenger for New Orleans mob boss Carlos Marcello during the Kennedy assassination, to having to go on the lam after shooting and killing a member of the Colombian drug cartel in his Vegas club. Along the way, Russo befriended Frank Sinatra, who became his son's godfather, and Marlon Brando, who mentored his career as an actor after trying to get Francis Ford Coppola to fire him from The Godfather. Russo had passionate affairs with Marilyn Monroe, Liza Minelli, and scores of other celebrities. He went on to become a producer and starred in The Godfather: Parts I and II, Seabiscuit, Any Given Sunday and Rush Hour 2, among many other films. Comfort and style!

Very light weight and also fashionable, they fit well right out of the box. I wear size 9.5 and have a slim foot and put them on and wore them hem for about an hour to “break” them in, and they felt very comfortable and have remained so without any blistering or discomfort. I appreciate the small ‘nubs’ built into the sole and the extra padding in the heel. Even our 6 year old grandson was impressed: the white sole has “air holes” for extra cushioning and he said, “They look like Nike AirMax 270’s!” Not bad for a quarter of the price. Well made, and I am hoping that they will endure frequent use.

My “go to” work shoes
Size: 9, Color: Brown
I think these look great, sporty and office appropriate for men as well outside of a really formal setting (wouldn’t pair with my suit but for chinos and a polo, it’s perfect!). The main thing I want to talk about though, is COMFORT. Man these are great! I’ve always had flat feet with discomfort after a few minutes of standing. With these on, I find myself using my standing desk for over an hour when I first get in and taking walks around the building during break time with ease. No tired feet when I get home and I think they look pretty cool to top it off. Great value.

Pleasantly surprised!

They look kinda of cheap and like old man shoes in the box. I was not expecting much as they were very inexpensive. They were boxed really cool with each shoe having its own sleeve and are true to size (Size 10). Comfortable and sturdier than they appear. They are very cushiony and look more stylish when you're wearing them. I thought they would wrinkle immediately upon wearing them but not so far. Was caught in a rainstorm and when they dried they were still like new. For the price (Just over $30 because I did not clip the coupon, grrrrrr!) they are well worth it. I am pleasantly surprised.
