ACT's 4-pad spring-centered race disc features a spring-center construction to properly damp torsional vibrations for quieter operation and resist failure even under harsh conditions. ACT spring retainers utilize wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. With the 4-pad spring-centered race disc, engagement is harsher, but shifting is faster. ACT's 4-pad spring-centered race disc is well-suited for smaller disc sizes in smaller engines. Monoloc is a one-piece, direct replacement or upgrade to the standard, two-piece wedge collar and wire ring featured in pull-type clutches. The spring tension of the segmented retaining ring is carefully calculated and tested for optimal performance. This filter is very comparable to the stock filter. Fits the BMW G20 just like OEM. I would not say it is two times "heavier" as advertised on the box, but it is very comparable to stock. It's the same weight and similar construction. BMW has a very robust cabin filter. This will be my go to. I did purchase another aftermarket cabin filter that fit well, but was thin, flimsy and had a bad chemical odor. This one is fine and airflow is the same as OEM. I change them every year or so. I don't worry too much about longevity with cabin filters personally.

Good quality but it was slightly longer than original and needed modification.

Bought this cabin filter for a 2023 Acura TLX. While the filter seems to be made of quality material, it was just a little too long (about a 1/16 of an inch, so I had to trim it to make it fit so the cover would fit snug. I was able to do that without compromising the filter itself. But this might be an issue for some people

Fits perfectly for my 2017 VW Passat

Bought this for a fraction of the cost. An auto shop wanted to charge me $72.99 for a filter so I bought this Spearhead brand cabin filter and its the perfect size and its just as sturdy as the previous one the dealership had in the car. Not sure yet how the airflow is or if anything different as I have not driven in the car since it was replaced, but it appears to be a very high quality cabin filter for my car at a great price.
