Debut release from the collaborative force that is QSP! Suzi Quatro, Andy Scott (Sweet) Don Powell (Slade): "We all have similar backgrounds and come from the same ballpark where we learned our craft, to coin a phrase "on the road." Back then performing was the only way forward. We have huge respect for one another and approach our musicianship in the same way. We share an era and still continue to work and perform separately in concerts all over the world. After many enjoyable late night discussions it felt like the right time for us to come together to 'pool' our ideas. From the first drum beat, bass lick and guitar chord we knew we had something special. In the beginning it was fun returning to our roots by recording a few covers but eventually we started to write original songs which gave the project substance. We have created something we are all very proud of.

Really great basic/intro to physi
Format: Paperback
Purchased as a birthday present for my very smart 14 year old grandson. The book gives simple discussions about most basic elements of physics. I’m hoping it is not too simple but not too complex. First look tells me I made a good choice. I may buy another one just to have around the house for other grand kids. I’ll give an update after he gets into it a bit.

Looks good so far!

I’m a high schooler who has ADHD and I needed resources to clarify the material I learned from my classes. I’m also a visual learner, and this is AMAZING for my mode of learning. I flipped through the book and I’m literally so hyped to get into it. The illustrations are so cool. Never have I felt this excited to actually learn. Thank you Barron’s! I really hope they make more books like these for all subjects.

Interesting and informative
Format: Paperback
Seller gave an honest evaluation on condition of the book and it was received several days earlier than promised. I took Physics in college but wanted a quick review of some of the principles. The illustrations are good and take the place of a Physics lab, helping the reader to visualize the subject being discussed. The reader will have to look for a high school book to go into more depth, but this is great for an introduction or review of the subject.

thoughtful and honest
Format: Kindle
Bucar’s diligent engagement with religious borrowing/appropriation coupled with her autobiographical reflections and confessions make this book what it is. What could’ve been only a vehicle for scolding and shame became an invitation to deeper thought and conversation about religious interactions/borrowing. Highly recommend.
