Modern Orthodox Version is a modern update of the Holy Bible based upon Masoretic Text for Old Testament and Textus Receptus for New Testament. Modern Orthodox Version (MOV) is not a new translation. This modern update was done by comparing and examining original Hebrew and Greek words in the StrongÕs concordance along with 1769 KJV edition, Webster Bible, Matthew Bible, Coverdale Bible, AKJV, MKJV, LITV, and YoungÕs Literal Translation. Also, the literal rendering of words is retained as much as possible.
MOV retains the flow and uniqueness of the English structure that is found in the Authorized Version.
In addition to the confusion over the Word of God, there is also confusion over the Name of God. Many have taught us that we no longer need to know His name. However, the Word of God itself tells us to call upon Him through His name and to praise Him by His name. The transliterated name of God, YHWH, is rendered Yehowah in this edition of the Holy Bible.
May this update bring more readers to understand and appreciate the Word of God.
