We’ve beefed up these radius rods by combining our massive 3/4” heim joints with our steel helical inserts. We use the helical inserts to reinforce the radius arm threads so that the heim joints won’t strip them or pull out. They’re stronger and longer lasting from tip to tip. My Rottie loves playing with this ball, either alone or with me. The first day she chewed a corner of the handle off (the handle is still usable), but then she figured out what it was for and has a blast with it. She has done no further damage to it, and it is strong enough to play tug. It's her favorite toy.
