Rising bravely to protect what he loves, the "Toruk Makto" - the rider of the Last Shadow - is brought to life in this striking piece. Captured in 1/4 scale, it faithfully reflects both the physical form of his Avatar body and the inner strength he gained through his journey among another culture.

Every detail, from his braided hair and patterned skin to the Na'vi-inspired spear, has been meticulously traced from the film. The cold precision of the grenades reminds us of his human side, while the eyes - one of the film's most meaningful symbols - received our utmost attention. It’s also fairly quiet, which I appreciated while traveling around other people. Battery life has been solid so far and it charges easily. I also like that it has a small flashlight built in, which is surprisingly handy while traveling and makes it feel a little more useful as an all-in-one item to keep in a commuter or travel bag. Obviously it’s not air conditioning, but for travel, commuting, hotel rooms, or just keeping in your bag during warmer months, I’ve found it genuinely useful and have already used it more than I expected.
