The handbrake mounting plate for the BMW E46 was designed from scratch by RS-Ultimate to be perfectly fitted to the factory center tunnel and to allow the handbrake to be mounted on either the left or right side of the gear lever in any fully comfortable position for the driver. This version is dedicated to right-hand drive cars, such as those found in the UK and Japan. The holes for mounting the handbrake are made in various spacings. Even the most demanding drivers will find the perfect setup for themselves.
The plate features mounting holes to secure the base to the tunnel, which makes the entire structure exceptionally rigid after installation, ensuring that there will never be an issue with the tunnel or handbrake brackets pulling out.
The base can also be used as reinforcement for repairing a damaged tunnel.
The plate can accommodate both standard handbrakes and models with an inverted lever, so the base can be adapted to your needs.
Installation is exceptionally simple. The entire setup is secured with screws directly to the car's tunnel WITHOUT welding.
