Mata Traders fair trade jewelry is crafted by our fair trade production partner in India, utilizing many different materials, like plated brass, resin, shell, wood, beads, and more. Our jewelry partner was one of our first, and is comprised of many different artisan workshops, most near to their location in Delhi and nearby states. Since its start in the '60s, this organization has generous roots within its community, having established three health centers, multiple informal learning centers and skills development centers, and being dedicated to social work, advocacy, and gender equity.
