The Intellinet Network Solutions 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ Switch is built for modern networks that need to power and connect multiple PoE devices without clutter or complexity. This compact, desktop-friendly switch brings together robust Gigabit performance with reliable Power over Ethernet on all eight ports, allowing you to deploy IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and other PoE-enabled devices using a single cable run. Ideal for small offices, retail spaces, classrooms, and home surveillance setups, this Endspan switch delivers plug-and-play convenience with a focus on simplicity and efficiency. With eight PoE+ ports, you can confidently expand your network while keeping cabling straightforward, minimizing the need for extra power adapters or switchgear. Whether you’re upgrading an existing network or building a new one from the ground up, this switch provides a scalable, future-proof foundation that delivers both data and power where you need it most.

  • All-in-one power and data distribution— eight Gigabit PoE+ ports deliver data and power over standard Cat5e/Cat6 cables, simplifying your deployment and reducing clutter on desks and walls. This enables rapid installation of IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points without running separate power lines.
  • IEEE 802.3at/af PoE+ support— compatible with a wide range of PoE devices, allowing higher power delivery to devices that require more than standard PoE, such as high-definition IP cameras and advanced wireless access points, while preserving compatibility with legacy PoE equipment.
  • Endspan design for effortless setup— powered directly from the switch itself, eliminating the need for a separate midspan injector. This streamlined architecture makes it easy to deploy in tight spaces and maintain a clean, organized network rack or desk area.
  • Desktop form factor for versatile placement— compact and unobtrusive, the switch fits neatly on a desk, shelf, or small cabinet, making it perfect for offices, retail counters, and classrooms where space is at a premium.
  • Unmanaged, plug-and-play operation— experience instant connectivity with auto-negotiation on each port. No complex configuration is required; simply connect, power, and let the ports auto-negotiate for stable gigabit performance across the network.

Technical Details of 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ Switch

  • Ports: 8 x Gigabit PoE+ (RJ-45) ports capable of delivering power and data to PoE-enabled devices.
  • PoE Standard: IEEE 802.3at/af (PoE+/PoE) compatibility for broad device support.
  • Powering: Endspan design—Power is supplied through the switch’s own power source to all PoE ports, enabling streamlined installation without midspan injectors.
  • Performance: Gigabit data rate on each port to ensure fast, reliable connections for high-bandwidth devices and seamless multi-device operation.
  • Form Factor: Desktop-friendly chassis suitable for compact workspaces and small networks, with a quiet and unobtrusive footprint.
  • Management: Unmanaged switch—simple plug-and-play with automatic speed and duplex negotiation for straightforward integration into existing networks.
  • Typical Use Cases: Ideal for powered IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and other PoE devices requiring reliable, centralized power and data distribution.

How to Install 8-Port Gigabit PoE+ Switch

  • Place the switch on a stable surface on your desk or dedicated equipment area. Ensure it is within reach of a convenient power outlet and your existing network cables.
  • Connect your uplink device (router, firewall, or core switch) to one of the PoE+ ports using a Category 5e or Category 6 Ethernet cable. This establishes the data path between your local network and the broader network/internet.
  • Attach your PoE-enabled devices—such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, or wireless access points—directly to the remaining PoE+ ports with Cat5e/Cat6 cables. Each device will receive both power and data over the same cable, simplifying installation and reducing cable clutter.
  • Plug the switch into a standard AC outlet using the included power adapter. Once powered, the switch will begin delivering PoE to connected devices as needed and will synchronize data rates automatically.
  • Power on connected devices and verify link/activity indicators. If a device does not power on, reseat the Ethernet cable at both ends and confirm that the device is PoE-enabled and within the switch’s capabilities.
  • Manage environment and cabling to maintain a tidy setup. Route cables neatly, secure the switch away from heat sources, and monitor cable length to ensure optimal performance across all ports.

Frequently asked questions

  • What is PoE+ and what devices benefit from it? PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at/af) delivers power through Ethernet cables alongside data, enabling devices like IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points to operate without separate power sources. This reduces cable clutter, simplifies installation, and is ideal for spaces where power outlets are limited or inconvenient.
  • Is this an unmanaged switch? Yes. The switch is designed for plug-and-play use with auto-negotiation on each port. There is no required configuration, making it easy to drop into an existing network and start powering PoE devices immediately.
  • Do I need a separate power supply for PoE devices? No separate injector is needed. The Endspan design powers PoE devices directly from the switch’s internal power supply, provided you connect the switch to an appropriate AC outlet. Ensure your power source can handle the total PoE load from connected devices.
  • What are typical deployment scenarios? This switch excels in small offices or retail environments where multiple IP cameras, conference room IP phones, and wireless access points must be deployed quickly. It supports centralized power delivery and straightforward network expansion without adding midspan injectors.
  • Can I expand beyond eight PoE devices? The eight PoE+ ports cover many small to medium setups. If you anticipate needing more PoE devices, you can cascade this switch with another non-PoE or PoE-capable switch in a larger network topology, keeping in mind overall power budget and bandwidth considerations.

I’m a little disappointed.
Format: Kindle
I usually like Jillian West’s books but this one was missing a lot for me. The pregnancy didn’t come across as real. She’s on her feet for 12 hour days but is perfectly healthy at 8 months pregnant? Yet the week she moves in all of a sudden she’s not? She is planning on actually running during one of the plot buildups. But at 8 months pregnant that’s incredibly hard to do. The lack of breathing ability and lung space, the change in body center, mass, and gravity. All of it prohibits running, unless you’re an athlete this didn’t come off as at all realistic. I didn’t feel any connection with the alphas. There wasn’t any emotional connection. It could be because of the tense it was written in. But I didn’t get any deep feelings out of this. It came across as checking off boxes. Even the spicy scenes weren’t really believable for me. I wanted to see them fall for her, and it just kind of all fizzled. Even Bishop. One thing I did really like was the ending. I did not see it coming and I’m interested in reading book two because of it. But on the whole this book was mostly disappointing for me.

Vale is an 8 month pregnant omega working as a waitress at a strip club and a cam girl. She starts to get very creepy vibes from a regular at the club, and her baby daddy ghosted her. She has had an online relationship with a man named Bishop through her cam girl status. One night, bishop was paying to watch her sleep and ansthe creepy regular Andrew break in and watch her sleep he tells vale to come to him at his business now. She flees and finds herself at a large security company with some.hot of alphas who are there to help her. This imegaverse is a little different than I have read, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. Vale is not a traditional omega she was raised by a single beta mom, and the alphas are not normal alphas they have never really loved pack life. But they are ruthless mercenaries. They need her, and she needs them. I love the aspect of the stalker and now the plot twists at the end, so so good. Sometimes, it seemed a little slow and stale mated, but since this a duet, I think It was just her starting to have Vale get to know her alpha suitors. Cliffhanger for sure with this one.

That ending 😫
Format: Kindle
I fell into a false sense of security and really thought this was gearing towards a happy ending. Then I realized there’s no work they don’t punish Andrew. I really liked Vale’s character. I don’t normally read books with pregnancy but going into this knowing she was pregnant made it more enjoyable for me. I loved Bishops devotion to her and her happiness. I also loved that Holt and Mercy couldn’t fight their attraction to her. I love scent matches so very much. I’m so curious to see how this duet will end up. And I need to pay more attention and notice that a book I’m starting is a duet to begin with lol

I just knew there was something about Cooper! I’m wondering if he’s about to be included but damn I’m glad he’s at least not a rapist and creepy guy, he just got called on assignment and had to go! This should be interesting! She’s gonna run and then what’s his face is gonna grab her. I’m worried! Wow that was a great book and cliffhanger! Loving this!

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5
