The OCC7 Supercardioid capsule, paired with a Transformerless output stage, delivers an impressively smooth frequency response with a subtle roll-off in the highs and lows. This ensures a natural, balanced sound while handling extremely high SPLs of up to 155 dB without distortion and maintaining remarkably low self-noise.
Every CC8-SC is individually measured and calibrated at the factory to within ±0.5 dB sensitivity at 1 kHz. This strict precision means any CC8-SC can be seamlessly match paired with another, no matter when it was produced — ensuring consistency and reliability for stereo and ensemble recording setups.
