Quality

Quality is the reason for PCT's success, because they control the manufacturing process, with this comes superior products. The design team continually advance the design of towbars and towing electrics allowing as little modification to the towing vehicle as possible.

Advanced Coating

PCT Towbar systems now have one of the most advanced coatings within the UK. The procedure first begins with a high intensity shot peening which cleans any substance from the raw material followed by an Iron phosphate pre-treatment then finally an e-coating which provides exceptional anti-corrosion protection.

The high performance coating was originally developed to meet stringent automotive anti-corrosion standards for vehicle under bodies, giving a salt spray life up to 1,000 hours; the technology is applied onto their Towbar systems.

The electrophoretic e-coat plant applies the paint finish to very tight coating tolerances. A unique feature is the use of High Edge paint to ensure uniform coverage around sharp corners and profile edges.

European Type Approved

Products are European Type Approved for your peace of mind and fit to the official vehicle manufacturer's mounting points. Products are only granted European Type Approval by a registered government engineer following an on-site fatigue test, ensuring structural compliance, longevity and safety.

I am still in nursing school- but I like to try read and gain knowledge ahead of time. I do this so that with upcoming semesters, the concepts are not completely foreign to me and I’m not blindsided by new topics. I was hoping it would have offer more info in it , maybe some more facts here and there but it’s basically an answer bank. It does have some small facts but they are not in depth at all- just mainly recall information. It really is based off just past memory from your education. For me personally, I find this book pretty useful to have if you feel confident in all topics- and plan to go for your NCLEX..however, if you’re still a bit rusty on some topics, you won’t really be able to rely solely on this book to brush up on information- not in a manner of depth (which I guess is the point). I think applying his lectures, listening to their YouTube videos and applying this book would make the ultimate go-to. The book alone is wonderful- but it’s simply just answer banks to help recall the info. Which is great if you’re looking for strictly recall. I was fortunate enough to find his lectures on Reddit along with some of the “yellow pages” from other students. I can apply that with this book and be confident in upcoming tests , as his lectures are incredible.

I highly recommend this edition above all others available. The translation is very clear and lucid and actually makes Timaeus and Critias real page-turners. Not only is the translation great, but the introductory material is incredible. While one review here mentions that the translation misses some of the nuance of Platonic thought (which I don't necessarily agree with that), the introduction more than makes up for that. So many available editions of Timaeus are written by reluctant scholars who act puzzled as to why they've been asked to introduce Timaeus when they are obviously either not fond of it, or dismissive of it as an authentic piece of Plato's canon. At last, we have an edition that is faithful and generous to the source material!
