Upgrade any video distribution setup with the KanexPro VGA 1x1 Extender over CAT5e/6 with Audio. This compact extender brings high-resolution VGA video and stereo audio across long distances using a single CAT5e/6 cable, simplifying cabling and cost. Perfect for classrooms, conference rooms, control rooms, digital signage, and houses of worship, it makes it easy to place your source far from the display while maintaining sharp images, synchronized sound, and reliable performance. The transmitter captures VGA video and audio from your source and transmits them to the remote receiver, which outputs VGA to your display and passes through the audio to speakers. Because the system uses standard RJ-45 connections and a single cable, installation is quick and scalable, with the ability to add more displays or extend your network without complex infrastructure. The receiver features a dedicated gain and peaking rotary switch that lets you fine-tune brightness and skew over long cable runs, ensuring consistent image quality even in larger rooms or across multiple zones. With KanexPro, you get a robust, industry-standard extension solution that preserves image fidelity and audio clarity while reducing clutter and cost.

  • Transmits high-resolution VGA signals and stereo audio over a single CAT5e/6 cable for streamlined routing and minimal cable clutter.
  • Supports remote distances up to 1,000 ft (300 m) between transmitter and receiver, preserving image clarity and audio fidelity across rooms, auditoriums, or digital signage environments.
  • Receiver includes a dedicated gain and peaking rotary switch to adjust brightness and skew, enabling precise image alignment and performance over long cable runs.
  • Includes transmitter and receiver units designed for plug-and-play installation with standard RJ-45 cabling on both ends, reducing setup time and complexity.
  • Ideal for classrooms, conference spaces, retail environments, and multi-display installations where reliable VGA plus audio distribution is required over a single UTP cable.

How to install KanexPro VGA 1x1 Extender

Install the KanexPro VGA 1x1 Extender quickly and with minimal setup, converting a standard VGA source into a reliable long-distance distribution solution using a single CAT5e/6 cable. Begin by planning your installation path, identifying a location near your VGA source (computer, media player, or presentation device) and near the display or displays you wish to drive.

  • Connect the transmitter to the VGA output of your source device using a standard VGA cable. If your source provides embedded audio, connect its stereo line-out or headphone output to the transmitter's associated audio input as specified in the user manual.
  • Connect a single CAT5e/6 cable from the transmitter's RJ-45 output port to the receiver's RJ-45 input port. Ensure the cable runs are within recommended distance and avoid excessive physical stress or interference.
  • At the display end, connect the receiver to the monitor or projector with a VGA cable. If you have external speakers or an audio system, connect the receiver's audio output to the speakers as appropriate to route the synchronized stereo audio with the video.
  • Plug in the power adapters for both transmitter and receiver, then power them on. Use the gain and peaking rotary control on the receiver to fine-tune brightness and skew to compensate for cable length and display characteristics.
  • Test the setup by playing content from the source and adjusting the receiver’s gain/peaking until image brightness is consistent across the screen and the color alignment matches your display. If you experience any latency or color discrepancies, recheck cable routing and confirm both units are connected to compatible VGA sources and displays.

Frequently asked questions

  • Q: Does the extender carry stereo audio? A: Yes, it carries stereo audio alongside the VGA video signal, enabling synchronized audio playback at the display.
  • Q: Are there controls to compensate for long cable runs? A: Yes. The receiver includes a separate gain and peaking rotary switch used to adjust brightness and skew, helping preserve image quality over long distances.
  • Q: What equipment is included? A: The kit typically includes a transmitter unit, a receiver unit, power adapters, and necessary mounting hardware. No additional drivers are required for basic operation.
  • Q: Do I need special cables or extra equipment? A: You only need a single CAT5e/6 cable between the transmitter and the receiver. Standard VGA cables connect from the transmitter to the source and from the receiver to the display.

Nice tire sealant.
Size: 32 oz
This seems to work very well. I will say that it seems to be pretty important to move the wheel around as soon as you can to distribute the product within the tire. I was held up for a few minutes and the Liqui tube seemed to start to set up in one spot and made the tire out of balance so I had to work quick to get it to distribute to the other parts of the tire. It seems to have worked though and so far the tires are holding air very well. I will be interested to see if it lasts for a long time but so far so good.

This stuff works!
Size: 32 oz
I was sceptical but wanted to avoid replacing 2 rear tires on my zero turn mower. The tires were leaking air and had bad sidewall cracking. I found the use of the product to be easy and quick. I aired up the tires and rode around the yard a few minutes to distribute the product in the tires. It has been 4 days and both tires remain aired up. Previously both tires would already be flat within this timeframe. Excellent results for me!

#1 Tire Repair
Size: 16 oz
This stuff is Fantastic. I have a riding lawn mower and one of the front tires, which is small, had been running low for a couple of years, we took it off. to fill it with the liquiTube and you could see cracks all around the outside of the tire. The liquid tube oozed out of one of the cracks and sealed , immediately. My brother rolled the tire around real good before we put it back on the track lawn mower. It has been 3 days now and today I mowed for 1 1/2 hrs and the tire as full as it was the day we put in the LiquiTube. This stuff is fantastic, it really, really works!
