CONSTRUCTION
The AS580 has a 400D nylon material for the base material with added abrasion resistance material on key wear areas around the pant so they hold up throughout the season no matter how intense the game gets. Like all CCM pants they have an external zipper to extend the overall length by 1" to help get a more customized fit.
HIP & THIGH PROTECTION
Keeping you protected through those games we see the use of JDP hip pads to help disperse the impact away from you when battling in the corners or in front of the net for the puck. The pant also has added plastic PE foam & plastic inserts in the thigh section of the pant to give you that extra protection just to be safe from pucks coming in from the point.
SPINE & KIDNEY PROTECTION
For those intense battles in front of the net the AS580 features a added foam insert on the back spine of the pant that is secure to the pant to keep you protected at all times without getting in the way. Along with that the kidney section features molded PE-Caps for pro level coverage that are covered by a sublimated liner for improved comfort.
